I run both upper and lower rears. With OME 864s and unweighted, yes I could have dialed them out a bit to re-center the axle. Loaded, it's centered. No experience with the others. Price point and preference. MetalTech had a sale, so I got them.

Hmm, I may be picking up the adjustable uppers, they are pretty much the exact same price as the OEM parts...I figure I can just run them at the same length as the OEM and adjust them down the road if I need to.

How do adjustable rear control arms re-center the axle? I would have thought you needed an adjustable panhard. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding the conversation.

The adjustable upper control arms will allow you to rotate the axle to get the u-joint between the drive shaft and the differential in line. If that makes sense.

You are correct, would need an adjustable panhard or adjustable lowers AND uppers.

Also, Apparently you do not 'need' them with a 2.5" lift. But they can be had for the same price as OEM.

Hey Fellas,
How do you know when it’s time to replace rear control arms?
I’m replacing front bushings and ball joints since I have play.
But rear bushings seemed tight.
I used big screwdriver and the upper moves a bit but the lower is tight.
Just wondering if I should replace those too. Or a test I can do to check the rear arms.
Thanks.
