I put a couple of extra stock springs in the rear to help with the saggy butt and a 2" body lift. The tires are 33 x 10.5 on the 15 x 7.5 rims that came with it. That's all I have done with the suspension so far. I picked it up in Texas about 4 years ago so it soesn't have the usual rust they have up here in the Great White North.
Here is a pic as it was when I bought it.

i feel you are speaking sarcastically, but i will take the opportunity to gloat. :D

solid front axel with highsteer

custom front spring mount to avoid the extra inch that comes with aftermarket spring hangers

marlin crawler rear frame shackle tubes with home made shackles, again to keep minimal lift hight.

allpro waggy highbrid front springs

alcan rear springs

addicted off road front bumper (as much as I cant stand there cheesy logo, they make a good product)

35" bfg's

budbuilt single case cross member

4.7 trail gear tcase gears

4.88 axel gears

longfield 27 spline outers

arp hub studs

lunch box locker front, toyota elocker in the rear.

I really like the set up for a daily driver/ wheeler. If it were a trailer queen i would do dual cases and put the elocker up front with a spool in the rear.

But right now it works really nice on the street being able to unlock the rear and not have to push through an extra tcase all the time.

I leave all my jeep friends in the dust on the highway when we are driving to the trail heads, even with my stock 22re :steer:.

I drive this rig as is regularly from rapid city SD to cheyenne WY and Denver and it does great.

For anyone having to use they're trail rig for a daily driver I highly recommend this setup over your typical dual case's elocker up front blah blah blah.

why wouldnt you want an Elocker up front?....thats why you get an E locker...

80's came with front lockers....

I find that with the extra leverage of the larger tires a lunch box locker up front really isnt that bad and you only have to deal with it offroad when your locked up.

Lunch box lockers in the rear are just a bad idea unless you have all wheel drive or an auto tranny.

A spool in the rear handles much better, and is much more predictable but still doesnt have the greatest road manners.

With an elocker in the rear you can have the best road manners possible, the only downside is that you have to deal with a full time locker up front, but my argument is that a full time locker upfront is actually fairly well behaved and acts as it should (unlocking when no torque is applied) when in the front vs. the rear.

obviously arb's or a front high pinion elocker and rear trd elocker is the best option

but for those on a budget that use their rig as there primary driver, this is the best combination, imho.

My Truck

1994, 335,000 Miles, 3VZE, Rebuilt the engine at 240,000, SDORI ball joint spacers, add-a-leaf, longer shackles, Bilsteins, 4.88 gears out of an automatic 4Runner, also swaped the leather buckets and console out of the 4Runner along with the gauges and tilt column. Pioneer cd with Siruis radio, Cobra 18 wx st cb radio. Held onto the 4runner alloys and mounted 33x10.50. I drive the truck everyday and hope to continue to modify it while retaining the original look of these great trucks.

IIRC it might be the same rig b/c someone had it shipped from Hawaii to California.

If it is: man it hasn't aged well since these shots.
