'87 4runner bought in August '23 out of Colorado stock and drove it the 2k miles home with the . Bought it to keep miles off the truck and told myself i would do a couple inch lift on and leave it alone. Then a Black Friday deal on the SAS kit came up....

ok. the whole graphic is the international hilux. most of them i see here have those.

Found a photo album from my early 20s when I lived in Cali.
Pictures of my 83 before it got TJ springs and heavy duty shackles. Taken in 2001, got orders to korea in 2002 and had to sell it.

This is/was a ’72 Datsun 620, originally 2WD. Back about 1980/81 I converted it to 4WD. Dana 44 diffs, Dana 20 XFer case
Brakes were poor (had a vacuum leak on the booster somewhere) as was the suspension.
Sold it for almost a 90% loss on what I put into it after I bought a Scout II for $500 and the Scout was a much better rig than what I had created.
Should have got a Land Cruiser instead.

i pretty much learned to drive stick in a 4wd 620. I still love the lines of these rigs.
