New Primary Trail Rig
Hey there folks,
I made a move to get out of my trusty FJ55 trail rig. Traded a local guy for this '87 4Runner. My 3 year old daughter calls it the 'Hilux' since we built two minitrucks over the last two years, she is well cultured

She does say she misses the pig
Specs are: SAS with 85 housing, trussed, locked, RUF, Rancho's, ARP knuckle studs, highsteer, DOM rods and link, etc. Rear 56" chevy springs and revolver shackles, stretched wheelbase in the rear, front moved forward, IFS box remounted moved forward and tilted. Rear discs, rear welded third with 4.88 front and rear, trac bar in the rear, square front DS, stock modified rear DS, dual ultimate cases, 5 speed, built 22RE runs great with no leaks.
The 4 runner was cut behind the B-pillar and the back portion of a single cab was grafted in to make it like an extracab.
Rides on 36" TSL beadlocks, warn 8000K, DOM rear cage and aluminum tool box, OBA via the A/C compressor with a oiler added and uses the 7 gal tank on the bed with pressure gauge in the cab, full internal cage tied to the frame, and its an SR5 model with decent seats and the dash cluster. CB and stereo....
Great rig for the southeast trails I'm running in KY and vicinity. Sorry about the bad pic, I'll edit with an action shot soon.
