kit

Kit included the pro comp shims for the angle correction front and rear. You might notice the pumpkins are pointing up more than stock.

and going

Kit has nice Procomp shocks I used a jack to cycle the suspension to the stops the shocks are correct for the length no copression at the stops and no bottoming at extension. So good for now.

If you can remember the orginal post to this saga I mean to replace a lot of stock parts that are just there, You may note in the photo that all the tie rod ends and links are new. as are all the break parts. Just felt safer putting in new while in the area.

U joints and Drive shaft worked on

Yeah the ujoints were showing some wear in the bearings when I took them out, but they were not giving as yet. Should be good for a while with the new one's in place. DSC_0048 (Medium)c.webp

Unless you have questions that all for now took a ton of pic's if need additional views or questions. Will post up again as things progress. Doc Shooting for Gsmiter in June. :)

Looking very very nice, Doc!

And FWIW, for your Long Range Tank - if it's not installed yet - the barbed hose fittings on the driver's side, you might consider getting some 90 degree ones. The straight ones that are supplied cause the vent hose to kink, and it's very very difficult to get to once installed. I bought some 90 deg ones from Lowe's. But Jeg's on line also had them.

Also, the large 1/2" hose (12mm) one the pass side - you're supposed to reuse the stock braided hose - but it's Too short! Very difficult, here in Los Angeles anyway, finding that size fuel/emissions line. Ended up having to order some on-line.

And, you will find, that the access hole in the floor does not match the position of the fuel sender, so make sure sender is in and screws are tight before you install (experience) ... Or, of course, you could make a new access hole in the floor...

:confused:QUESTION : How'd you get all that floor tar goop out so cleanly ? Dry Ice ? (Hey, ain't he a rapper? :D )

The supplied one's were angled at 90's .

Thanks that would have been agrivating to know while holding the tank in the air with a lift. thanks

Hope it's tight all I can say is we will see!

looks like you are sporting the urban camo look(body filler/putty) like me! for now anyway. Progress looks great. Very inspiring. Wish I could work on my rig as much as I wanted to!

Can I say slow

Hope you get to work on it faster than I can.:o So far it's been

over 18 months and counting. But there are issues with location

and job. But then doesn't everone have issues. good luck and

keep plugging it will come. At least that is what I keep telling

myself. The urban camo will someday (soon I hope) be replaced

with the truckliner type coatings and paint that started this

quest.

There are several frame pic's in the first part of the thread, but I have several in the file. And if you want something specific let me know as I can snap a photo any time I am at the rig. (I travel so might take a week or two) So just let me know what part it is you want to see. Have not started the frame c channel clean up and boxing the rear frame plan to have several dedicated pic's on that in the near future. Doc By the way thanks folk's for the positive comments. This is so slow the encouragement goes a long way, at least it makes me feel better. LOL

Progress is good Doc. Looking good.

Bt will never be as good looking as your rig, but she'll do,:D oh yeah she will do!! :grinpimp:Thanks for your comments hope all is well with the family.
