Just the name alone is worth half of the asking price! Super Custom Living Saloon!

Yea - I think I NEED this - all part of the plan to sell everything and live on the road. The 1KZTE versions are a nice step up from the older 3L that are in older models (I think '95 was first year of the 1KZTE).

@weejub just build out the back of Reba and take off. I bet a few milk crates and a foam topper would be all that’s needed.

Good advice @Comet - cheaper, better offroad, maybe more reliable. In a moment of weakness, I was seduced by that sexy thang, but the trance is lifted.

Besides, I have some heavy duty rear springs ready for Reba, to be done this week!

@GLTHFJ60 ready for the upgrade?

That one looks kinda' wonky to me. Hood is off center. Bumper doesn't line up with bib. Shackles are tweaked to one side. Inspect carefully and bring a tape measure and a magnet.

Not for sale. Just posting to give @roadstr6 a mini stroke.

(NOT) for sale:

1973-1997 Mechanics Special. No low ball offers, no help needed to sell. I know what I got. What you have here is a Concourse ready specimen of engineering excellence. Parts of this vehicle have been carefully selected to be sold off for profit, the rest is what you see here. The character and feel of this masterpiece can only be described as Wisdom Turns Folly (WTF) with a side of tetanus. Suspension is new but the rest is a smattering of different axles and gear ratios to provide a bunny rabbit like effect while moving in a straight line. Steering linkage is currently being held together with technologically time tested bailing wire and Dollar Store electrical tape. The interior is carefully crafted to give the illusion that the gas, brakes, clutch, and gauges work. Seats provide lumbar support and can be reclined only so far as the steering wheel and your meaty thighs will allow, thus deemed “custom”.

@roadstr6 make me an offer, the rest of you can bugger off.

Travis, I'd make you an offer, but I noticed that your wipers aren't parking properly. I'll have to pass on this one.

@roadstr6 I didn’t even realize it had wipers. There’s a spare electric motor to go with it. Along with an F and two 2F engines. You are the master at making tired vehicles look fantastic again. It’s well on its way to perfection.

And now I can't unsee those.
