I built a 2 wheels air up system with 1/4 flexzilla hose and $15 pressure gauge and I am happy with it. I started off with a 4 wheels air up setup but it was way too bulky and wasn't saving much time being 4 vs 2 wheel system. I usually do one side (Driver/passenger) at a time and then un plug and move to the other side. you still get the benefit of tire equalization per side and you still have the emergency functionality of robbing air from other tires to fill a deflated on in a pinch.

You pointed out a reason I used such a small hose line. I didn't want it to be this huge bulky mess of hoses that takes up a lot of space.
Also, there's really no need to have a large bore hose. The determining factor will always come down to how much air can pass through those little valve stems? Assuming all psi is the same and excluding air tanks because they have so much pressure.
So the I.D. of my hose will still flow more air (with my compressors ability) than can be pushed through those valve stems.

I bought these a little over a month (or 2) ago on Amazon, thus I can't return them.
They are 1/2" thick and my lug nuts aren't long enough to reach them. And YES they do fit our bolt pattern.
So my loss is your gain.
These are free to anyone who want's to come by and pick them up!

Bump.
Just putting this out again if anyone is looking for an extra 1/2" width spacer for free.

Ha-ha! Talk about perfect timing!
I just installed my new Bilstein Icon wipers yesterday after work, and it rains last night and today!!
I couldn't plan it any better!
Okay, for all you folks who live outside of California, getting rain for us is a momentous event for us here (I almost think they should give us a holiday day off!)! Especially when it was forecasted for only a 45% chance (which usually means a no-go). And now for my timing to have put the wipers on just the day before a rain, well heck, let's just say I should probably go out and buy some lottery tickets.

I wanted to write this post separate from above regarding the wipers as this post will deal with the performance of wipers.
These wipers are completely quiet. Not a squeak, bounce, skip, nothing. I say this because there was some concern posted here that these Bilstein Icon wipers may have issues with noise and such.
But as I noted a few posts up, my window washer bottle was empty and needed to buy some washer fluid. So when I went looking for washer fluid, for the first time I decided to do a little research on which was best washer fluid. Most reviews pointed to Prestone 3-in-1 All Season Year Round Windshield Washer Fluid 0 Degree being either the best or way up there.
Amazon product ASIN B09J99F178My conclusion is that if you're having problems with your wipers, consider changing out your washer fluid. Depending upon what film (or whatever) the washer fluid leaves or doesn't leave will probably impact the performance of your wipers.

One more kind of funny side note. I'm poring in the washer fluid and I here this draining sound on the driveway. I look down and the line that was plugged going to the headlight washer units (which were removed when I had the MetalTech bumper installed) was torn off!
As I'm poring in, it's draining out!
So I had to plug that line up again, and then finish filling. I think I lost about a quarter of the fluid between first figuring out it was leaking, then getting something to temporally clamp it (needle nose vice clamps) until I was able to properly plug it.

Perhaps they improved the formula on those wipers. Mine started out fine but within a month or two of use started to squeak and leave some marks on the windshield as well.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for that and post any issues. But again, not sure if some of it is caused by not using a better washer fluid. :hmm:
Thanks for the heads up.

Oops! Maybe that may be the bad combination!! Yikes!
Maybe I should have kept what I had???

I just happened upon this and it actually looks pretty cool for the price!
Amazon product ASIN B09XQ2MQGVIt may be a good option for those who don't need an entire sleep system or don't want to build out their entire middle and rear seats.

Pretty neat actually

Quick question about cell boosters.
I'm looking at Cel-Fi and Weboost.
Question is: are they on all the time when you're using your data or making calls, e.g.: city, suburban, remote, etc.? Or do you need to turn them on when you get into spotty areas of reception?

I’m no expert, but I believe the weboost gets turned on when you want it on. I’m sure there’s probably a way to wire it up where it’s continuously on though.

I have the Cel-Fi setup. It’s on all the time, when it is plugged in and turned on. I just unplug the 12V Cel-Fi plug when I don’t want it on. When it is cycled off/on, it can take up to a few minutes to re-establish links. When I’m not traveling much, I take everything but the magnetic roof antenna and the antenna cabling out of the GX - it’s a lot easier just to leave the antenna on the roof all the time. I don’t need the Cel-Fi in town.

Do you take your equipment out to avoid theft or do you swap it between vehicles?
I thought install was all tucked away under the dash or glove box with the wiring running along the floor board (or wherever).
Also, is your Cel-Fi only one device on at a time, e.g. either your cell phone or your wife's?
I believe Weboost can have multiple devices operating at the same time, but I know Cel-Fi puts out a FAR stronger signal, but you're paying almost twice as much for Cel-Fi if I'm not mistaken.

Basically, yes - to avoid theft and when I wanted to use the system out of the GX.

I didn’t permanently mount everything - just ran the cables on the floor/carpet, etc.

The provided cabling for the roof antenna is not as long as I would have liked (I routed the magnetic roof antenna wire out the GX swing gate). I decided to leave the main box in the cargo area under the 2nd row seats.

I routed the power cable (a 12V cable/plug) on the floor from the 2nd row seats between the driver/passenger seats, along the center console to the dash 12V receptacle. I did need to purchase a 12V extension cable on Amazon.

The server antenna is inside the vehicle and comes with a long thin cable. I place the server antenna near the steering wheel so my phone has the closest proximity to it. When I’m using the system, all the extra cabling is tucked under the driver’s seat.

I don’t believe it is limited to one device connection at a time BUT the closer the server antenna (to the device, phone, tablet, computer), the stronger the signal is to that device.

There are some YouTube videos which compare the Cel-Fi to competitors - check them out.

I have made some long driving trips this year - around 14,000 miles worth. I found the Cel-Fi did what it advertised. If I keep up the traveling next year, I may invest in their more commercial grade whip antenna.

BTW - I took the system out of my GX and set it up in some of my hotel rooms and it worked in that mode as well (the kit came with a wall plug too). It wasn’t the best looking setup (wires on the floor) and I had to fiddle with the antenna placement in windows - but it worked.

Heck, if you keep up that type of traveling next year (and there after), you may be needing a new GX in just a few years!
Thanks for your input, it's very helpful.

Just had something very odd happen to my baby today.
My wireless phone charger just died on me the other day and replaced it with an exact same type: Amazon product ASIN B07RW4DSPHAnd I though I'd replace the USB cigarette plug also for a more powerful one: Amazon product ASIN B08YWLW6B2Also replaced my rear wiper.
So this is the chain of events:
To replace the rear wiper you have to turn your full accessories on, turn on the rear wiper and the shut off your ignition with the wiper in the vertical position for access.
Done. Replaced the wiper.
Then went to take off the adhesive and mount from the old phone charger. Between getting tools, scraping off the old double sided tape, etc. maybe 15 minutes to 1/2 hour?
Get everything plugged in and the phone will not stay charging. It'll start then after a few minutes, stop.
Then I realized during all my work, I've left the rear wiper on, swinging back and forth.
Went to start my rig... Nothing. Not even a click-click-click.

Used my handy Li-Po jumper, but is was also at only about 60%. It turned my car over, albeit kind of slowly, but wouldn't start.
So right now. I put the old cigarette lighter back in that was still working, shut down my car and am charging my jumper in the house.
After I get it to 100%, I'll go back out there and try again.

I've never seen this before. Have any of you??? I mean my battery went from fully charged and fine as of yesterday afternoon driving home from work to this.
Any ideas??

If the battery's older it might have been declining already and running the wiper without alternator was too much for it. Is it old school lead/acid or AGM or lithium?
