I have bought 6 total and paid $750 for all 6. Point being, $800 is definitely not a bad price but if you have some time to keep an eye on craigslist and eBay you may get luckier. Maybe you could talk him down.

Yeah, I offered 500 because one is stained, he countered with 700. If he says 650 is good, I'll get them.
I paid $800 for a good set. A lot of them are pretty rough as they're getting old.

I paid $800 with good tires, no TRD lugs though ($140).
If these are in decent shape and anyone near there wants to make some $ picking them up and shipping them, PM me. I've been on the fence between 17" RW and 18" Fuel Anza but a decent price on a set of 4 (or 5) RWs would push me off the fence rather quickly

I don't know anything about Fuel Anza wheels but I am not able to imagine a better wheel for the LC than the RW wheels. I'm not a person who understands wheel aesthetics. I just love how light and strong the TRD wheels are. They are very pretty as well. I was surprised to see how everyone at Discount Tire were in awe of the TRD wheels when I went to pickup my vehicle (there was an Ferrari next to my LC being forgotten because of my wheels). Personally, I hate the attention.
I'm not sure how they would look on a LX with BFG tires. I've been wondering as I have been considering getting a second LC/LX. I think it may take away from the class of the Lexus.

2,000 dollars
There was a set that went for about $800 with shipping on ebay last week. $200 per wheel in good condition seems to be the going rate. That set for $2000 is never gonna sell at that price.

I like the wider stance created by the lower offset on the Fuels. Yeah I could run spacers with the RWs, just not sure I want to go that route.
Interesting. I send an email yesterday after posting here and he emailed me last around 11:30pm central saying he'd accept a money order. I replied back asking if he'd take paypal since the fee is less. I hadn't heard back yet, but if you've sent a M.O. I'll back off... no sense in driving the price up between fellow mudders and I wasn't really planning to swap wheels and tires just yet anyway.
Hey guys please be mindful of scams. Wires and M.O. are generally final so hard to get funds back and sometimes are a sign of someone scamming. Maybe you want to post in the regional forum and see if anyone local can go lay eyes on them.

If he gets back to me trying to get me to wire money I'll let you know. Aside from the cheaper fees I was asking about paypal because they offer at least some buyer protection. Again I haven't heard back yet so he may be sitting on my email in case you don't come through.
