I intend to depart westward saturday morning, enjoy a pleasant feast of bbq in st. louis, and make my final descent into the park with time to set up shanty and enjoy river drank. and leave sunday
 
Hoping for a Friday leave and Sunday return, but house sale and job hunt may interfere.

My plan is to leave before the sun comes up on Friday & I will have to head home on Wednesday morning or noonish at the latest.

It does seem so. Just one more week! I better get my ass in gear & start packing so I can be ready on time. I still haven't test towed the trailer with my rig on it, hope it will tow it OK!
 
Pleasant surprise yesterday, a/c actually passed a vacuum/leak down test so I charged it up and the front air is working! Might just have to keep the 'burban.

SO FxxxING READY TO GET OUT OF IL!
 
Even if it leaks, i would just charge it occasionally..... But then again.... When you have a samsquash like that where you have to feed it 4lbs of freon each time- that can add up!

This time next week I will be in a chair, beside a fire, drinking some diesel in the middle of nowhere. Can't wait!!!

More like 5.25 lbs! The switch for the rear air is fxxxed up so that will be the starting point if it stays charged.

As usual, my truck is in 30 pieces in the garage less than a week out, one real day of wrenching left, then I just have to pack.
