Bill is going high tech.

Has anyone heard if there will still be toilets at the campground? Last year Ron talked about getting rid of them when he got the showers and bathrooms in by the office.

FYI. Tony when towing with the Tundra, you get a lot better gas mileage with the cruise control shut off. On flat ground its not too much different, but in the hills it makes a huge difference.

Awesome info Mark. Thanks for sharing. I must say I do enjoy cruise. I haven't had a vehicle with it in a long time & I do use it often. I didn't even think I could tow with it on but was gonna give it a try. Not now.

Hey Billiam, I recently bought a new laptop & I can bring it for you to play your videos on if you want. Not as big a screen as Gumbys TV tho.

interesting. that is a composite video out, which can only pass 480i max. to get the full 1080p you must have to remove the sd card (if it has one) or download the data to a pc, etc. that can do 1080p. But I'm kinda drunk so don't listen to me....

It has a 16g micro card and is normally plugged into the PC.
I picked up a reconditioned tower with windows 7 yesterday as windows XP has no support now. We were way past due for an upgrade anyway.

I was just thinking that if Todd's tv has RCA jacks we could view at camp instead of waiting for the return home to download.

I like.

I'll bring this just in case.

Someones gotta be on top of this.

Jeremy you just made my day, I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

I didn't see this post before. Vicky sometimes checks things out and I must have missed it somehow. The laptop would be great for instant review.

New PC had the recommended video player installed already. Just got to learn how to flip the camera as my videos are upside down but very clear.

Sweet, I will prolly be bringing my lap top on the journey anyway.
May not be bringing my 4Runner tho, depends on if I can get to Naperville to get the trailer in time.
Still considering the flat tow that far but not real stoked about that.

Mark when we were at Flat Nasty last weekend the toilets were still at the campground. We will bring our folding stool and both shower shelters just in case. One can be used if necessary as a privy.

Thanks for the info Vickie, just a few weeks to go.

Ok roll call. Who is going to be there and when? My plans are to get there on that Friday afternoon, in time to set up and hit the river. Then come home the following Sat. or Sunday.

Pretty much the same plan for me

Shooting for Friday arrival and Saturday departure. I'll have to work Friday, but will be scheduling myself in Peoria that day so when I leave I'll already be part way there.
