We need to come up with a shelter.

I have that one shelter thing that is big enough to put a picnic table under & still move around it. Has the screen type sides. I'll bring that. Dunno what happened to my tarp. I may have to get one.

If you are all for serious about the canoe, I will leave it home. I thought it might be a good idea, holds lots of stuff/cooler/etc.
I would just as soon not fxxx with it though if it's really not a good idea.

Mark, I'll call you when I leave Friday morning. Hopefully, if my mind & body agree with me, I'll be leaving by 6:00am. If you're still sleeping at that time in the morning, don't answer.

I aint scared.

Tony I'll have a better idea when I'm leaving tomarrow night. I'll text you more info then.

I also will bring an e-z up, and tarps.

Rain or no rain, I'll just be so glad to be on vacation with my homies it won't matter.

Looks like I may need to bring a hoodie with those 60 or cooler degree nights.

Even though it was a bitch to get that canoe loaded in the pouring rain & drive the 35 miles to my house with it on the roof of the Tundra, I thin I will just leave it home. Unless someone can convince me otherwise in the next 24 hours.

I think it will be a pain to coordinate getting it to and from the pick up and drop off points if the rental place isn't cool with hauling something that isn't theirs.

I'll try to find some time to figure out an awning system for the camper. Maybe just a tarp from the top to the pavilion or some trees.

I hope it doesn't get cold enough for pants. No Mas Pantalones!

No mas pantalones!

So who's all definite Fridays? Mark, Tony, Joe?

I'm 95% Friday.

I know a guy with a sewing machine. We can get a few yards or material and make something super strong!

I got a bunch of military canvas welding tarps, but I don't know if the sewing machine has got the cajones.

Ram on the pig is fighting me. It was going good and then not so much. The new surplus ram has giant ends. How do you get them to move side to side at all? The howe had rod ends and a zamboni ram I have has a double shear bracket, but neither of those seems to want to work. They just bind. I must be doing something wrong. It doesn't help the fxxxing thing wont stay running. I'm pretty close to bringing the 45.

There was a hillbilly camper sighting in Naperville today.

I'm bring a very large roll of vinyl for you John. May be too late for this trip but you can still use it for another trip

Loaded up leaving in the morning. After I take the wife out to breakfast on her way to work.

Make sure that someone packs a hard hat for the river, those rocks like to jump out of the water....

Joe it may be too late but I recommend the Coleman $40 tent from amazon. Only 3 drops of water last year.

I am on the road! Granted I still have to work today, but I'll be leaving from Peoria.

Geoff, that's one of the tents I brought.
