Looks like I may head down Saturday. Lots of work yet to do...

Still a lot of work to do, but still shooting for a Friday departure from Peoria.

I was planning on heading down Friday morning. Make it a nice easy stroll down there.

Didn't know you could make it Mr Bryan. Awesome
I'm looking forward to sitting round the campfire & seeing everyone again.

Coming down for a quick weekend. Lots of stuff to do yet before the "big day". Can't miss pys completely though...

Great to here you can make an appearance, Bryan. Still planning to head over on Friday, hope to be there set up and in the river by 5 or 6.

Started taking my extra axle apart tonight. Got the brakes off and things looked.....different. After compareing to another axle I guess I have a 60 axle. Old 40 axle is 49" from back of brake plate to brake plate, this axle is about 52" to 53". Is this a 60 axle?

So now I don't have a spare long side rear axle. Guess I should have took this apart sooner.

I have most of my s*** sitting around the rig in the garage waiting to be loaded. Picked up the canoe yesterday. Tikki oil & food/beverage is all I have left to purchase & I'm outta here early on Friday. Dunno when or what route you're taking Mark, but maybe we can meet up some place along the way. Or not.

They will have a section of I44 closed by the Arch so take the I255 or I270 loop around St Louis and catch I44 on the sw side.

We only saw one canoe last year. It was capsized and jammed under a tree trunk in the river.

It happened in the river, and it stayed in the river.

Yea, it was a red one right? That part I do remember, other parts not so much. Tony, don't bring your own canoe, nothing parties like a rental.

Thanks Todd.

Tony, I go I-64 to St. Louis, by pass around SE to I-44. Once you get ready to leave call me and we will see if we can hit St. Louis about the same time.

Yeah.. I think river DayReel said they knew about the lost souls aboard the vessel, and they would attempt to recover it (the capsized vessel) when the river settled down a bit.

Of course

I was just logging on to post that very thing. 10 day forecast has storms every day. I'm bringing a spare tent
