Per the Rules No NOS I Honestly think we are going to make it this year. The motor has never sounded better and I have a 20 piece Holley jet kit coming, Installing a new AFR guage to monitor whats going on ( Thanks @Mace ) It just feels right this year

Put up this add on this morning. Nothing better than an outside shop in August LOL Bonneville 45 should be finished by Thursday and this showed up yesterday. Thanks @Mace were gonna have a in cab AFR Guage

After some research I realized forcing air into the top of the carb could be a problem, forcing any amount would blow into the bowl vent tubes and could be a problem with the float or fuel delivery into the bowl. I found these thru a boat shop. Should be just what we need

This tube helps balance out atmosphere pressure between the two float bowls. Every little bit helps!

@KT40 That's interesting. I'm at the point now the 45 is as done as I can get it. And I am still swapping out carbs and playing with the jetting, By tomorrow I am stepping away and gonna just run it LOL

Total control, the thought has been in my head. Manual secondaries. By using 1F carb parts I attached a choke bracket to the secondary butterfly attachment, then using a cable hold down ran a fresh pull knob and cable through the firewall. Now at WOT I control when and how much the secondaries open. OH its gonna work

I was in the zone this morning LOL Don't Think just Build. All that's left is trim the rear U bolts and change the oil.

Epic test drive this morning, everything is working as planned. These will still be some tuning at Bonniville. Its been a lot of work and I'm looking for to seeing how these changes will affect our goal 100 mph.

Bonneville Update. As of this morning Major weekend thunderstorms hit Bonneville, USFRA is on site monitoring. Tuesday night/Wednesday morning they will make the call if the we are Racing. I will forward any updates. Sucks but thats Racing. Im still pushing forward

As much fun as that sounds LOL The latest message from the Salt, The Club at Bonneville is on stand by working with Utah BLM to get the go ahead to start dragging the course. Hopefully by this afternoon we have good news
