This is happening this Saturday. The 45 will be making History at the Street Legal Dragway in Perris California. Just picture the Dragster 45 lining up in the burnout pit, pulling up to to Christmas tree, watching the lights count down and sending it. I am so Stoked we were able to make this happen. Look for pictures and videos next week.

Dragster prep is coming along. Our tire Sponsor Koritas Tire&Wheel are getting some good used tires for the rear I should have them back tomorrow. Spent today cleaning and installing new Spark plugs, Cap and Rotor. Motor is running Great its going to be close to 90 degrees Saturday we'll see how that affects everything. Like everything we have done before I set two Goals, Pass Tech and run the 45 down the Drag strip. I can't wait !

What a Great day, We got our pit set up around 1030 am, After the drivers meeting we started lining up. There were some really legit drag cars out there. I will get some videos posted in the next few days. I have to say the 45 was a crowd favorite. We weren't the fastest or loudest we were the only Toyota FJ45 on the track LOL 1/16th mile track our fastest time was 8.465 seconds at 41.06 MPH its in the books The 45 is an Official Street Legal Dragster.

We arrived at the Street Legal Dragway Saturday morning. After checking in and passing Tech we set up our Pit. 10:45 am Drivers meeting and started lining up at 11:00. The Race 45 got a lot of attention and there some really Legit Street Rods out there. Wendy and I lined up and waited our turn. I have to Thank Koritas Tires Inc for Sponsoring the new rear tires for the Event saving our TOYO tires for Bonneville. We had a Great day and finished the 1/16 mile track with a time of 8.465 seconds at 41.06 MPH. Another notch on the Rusty Nail Racing 7319. From Desert racing, Land Speed and now Street Legal Dragstrip. Thanks to all our Sponsors and Supporters, Team Rusty Nail Racing and my wife Wendy Tygart

I found it on the time slip. R/T 1.352 seconds. Our first run we got the 3 light Christmas tree counting down to the Green, After that for the Bracket races we lined up two solid yellows then it went right to Green. It was all a learning experience

Jack knows drag racing! Whitey and me appreciate that! 😜I asked about your reaction time. Jack is 100% correct. There are.40 lights and.50 lights. Most are.40 lights. Watch this video for the basic information. For you Rob, as long as you had fun, that’s all that matters! Which you did!

 
@landcrusher909 not certain one way or the other but I may attend this event also. If so I will look for you.🧰🛠️🧰
