Man...cant get anything past you guys. Yep, finally new shoes. Same thing...40" MTRs. Cool new pattern. Looking forward to Moab and maybe Roundup. Not sure yet.

You have to come to round up. Its the inner texan speaking to you and you know it!

Been working with Slee on some reservoir shocks for the 45 and they came in just in time for Pismo. These things are a work of art and putting them under the truck seems like injustice. I went with a 2.5" body shock, built in bump stops, and large remote reservoirs for maximum dampening. Charged them at 175 lbs. nitrogen and did a short drive down the street. What a huge improvement. Cant wait to get the truck to the dunes to get a real feel for the new setup. These are available from Slee for 80s and 100s from stock to any lift height with no shock adapters needed, so they are a true bolt in design.

Very pretty.

I believe those tires could use a wash however.

Sand is wonderful at cleaning tires :)

You cannot miss this rig. A couple of years ago I was visiting my folks in Moab (not crawling, just visiting) and I saw project X parked on main. Great looking rig.

:grinpimp:

Gary took her for a test drive and the shocks passed the test ;)

Ige took this pic at Surf 'n Turf 2011.

I thought Gary was having nothing to do with the wheels coming off the ground after the last pismo episode....:p

Nice shot...

I think he added bump stops after that. lol

Watched lots of guys not making up that hill. It was steep and pretty tall for Pismo. I was little worried that I wouldn't make it either so I was on it hard and had to back off at the top in order not to pull a Butch.

and butch wasn't behind the wheel;)
