It all began when a young man of obvious means and education showed up at a bar in Dallas with a Land Cruiser. Not knowing the scoundrels that abounded, he parked and mixed with the foul, gruff and ornery bunch. This bunch of rednecks, oblivious of the young mans culture and grooming, took him in as one of their own. The young man became quite fond of this association for several years, until his bride, seeing the affect it was having on him, and finding the bunch had elected him President, moved the family far far away.
You don't have to be a redneck or white trash to like the way a V8 sounds. I was not trying to imply that anyone on here, including Waggoner or myself, is a redneck or white trash; nor did I mean to be offensive to anyone in any way. I was simply making a completely random guess as to what he meant, with LSLC being the only clue I had.

Worked ALL day and got 1 motor mount welded up and installed. I guess tomorrow will net the same. I have some pics but the engine is in and uses the factory rear cross member bolted in the same spot. I did have to slot the mount holes(2) to move things forward 1". I'll post pics tomorrow.
Slotted the holes to move the mount forward on the crossmember?

A fun word of odd advice from a guy that realy has very little gearhead advice to give...
Be sure to pay close attention to the auto shifter wiring. I have a similar set up in a fj55 and had random starting problems. After far too many angry evenings, I learned that there is a connection to the shifter that is possibly loose. This caused me to think it was a fuel problem. It turned over all day but no fuel delivery. I redid these connections and it jumps to life. Still not sure what the heck it is, but thought you might want to know.
By the way, you have one of the coolest 45's I have ever seen!
