Mace

Mace if you can give me at least 3 or 4 days notice when I can come out and pick it up. :steer: I do have plans on June 6th but other than that I will make myself available

Any evening that week. or on the weekend will be fine. I am easy :D

You can add your 'special' touch as it passes thru Denver on it's way here Ige!

Or just drop in a care package for the troops!

[note:this could be VERY interesting]:D

i can NOT make it that weekend. i need to attend a wedding; one of the first guys i met when i move to the states almost 25 years ago...............

so if it is going to happen that weekend, we'll need to find somebody to transport the axles, driveshafts, trans, t-case and some other stuff down to your shop mark.

that thought has crossed my mind but i won't have the axles here until the middle of next week. they need to be gone thru and i'm doing a 4wdb conversion so i seriously doubt that i'll have time to finish them before rubithon. i also need to reseal the t-case and put together an emergency brake and front nosecone for it. the donor came without those parts. plus i have lots of other work to be done still ...................

so if it is at all possible to move the assembly date, then i'll be more than happy to deliver all the components and work on the LV. ;)

Working on flights down. I would probably need a place to crash..

I also volunteered my time if an extra set of hands are needed. I am not sure about parking, but I also have a motorhome that can sleep up to 4 available if needed. -

:hmm:might as well use it since it's not seeing much use these dya's due to gas prices.

Georg, I'm sure if you said the word 'help', you'd have an axle-buiilding, transfer case finishing party on your hands in no time at all. No need to go it alone. You might even start a separate thread for it.

I am sure we can arrange transport for the parts at whatever point it seems appropriate. And I'm sure we can get enough hands together to finish whatever you AND the Bay area peeps can't get to before then. What we can't replace is YOU. :frown:

Unfortunately, this really IS the best date for this, and AFAIK there are a couple of people who have already booked plane flights into town for this.

We all have to make choices.

Best

Mark A.

i have already called upon the troops to help me with the axle teardown/rebuild/conversion/delivery to the shop and it's all set up and happening.........

there's no way i'm missing this wedding, sorry. :frown:

One question How much beer does the fridge hold  If it holds more than a 12 pack put me down for a bed

Spoke with Gene yesterday and right now we are shooting for next Friday or Saturday. We will leave here stupid early and get to Vegas and get the LV then another stright shot to Gene's all in the same day. The other Rob ( calstyl2 ) has donated his trailer and we will use my truck. ( just need to get one of those trailer brake things for my truck ) As soon as I hear from Mace we can conferm the pick up. Have a Great Week.

Mace PM'd me earlier in the week and he should be picking the LV up from Eric today. I'll post some pics as soon as I have some. Thanks to Mace and Rob, I should be able to work on the wagon for a month and get it as ready as I can for the work party. Treeroot sent this pic my way...

Thanks again to all of you. Georg, Mark, Eric C, Mace, Rob, Eric G, Butch, and all that have given, time, parts, cash, labor, and words of encouragement. I am jonesin' to get started working on it. I'm all stocked up on sanding discs, wire wheels, primer, and beer.
