Sooo cool to see a subtle and capable build like this! Sad to see it go. Any new builds?

Cheers from Norway!

But of course. I'm currently collection parts for my HJ61 build (Red Dragon) and my 200 Series (Fauxverlander). I'm really enjoying the HJ61 and while I miss having a 7x Series (sold my other BJ74 too) I'm ready to have a 6x again, it's been 7-8 years :D

I gotta get up to speed on this, and check out the Red Dragon. I've had two 7x previously, any they are great, and now we picked up another one a couple weeks ago. LJ73 with coils and the 2LT. My girl loves it, so the Rav4 will go!! :)
And I can keep the 61 for myself!!

Based on the vehicles that he has been able to bring in I bet you can build another without too much difficulty. Still I can imagine the parting anxiety after investing all the time and energy in the transformation. I know that feeling.

Yup... I couldn't live with that feeling.

Well, I figured out what to do. "Jenny" is now in my stable. I had always love the rig and how our customer theferg had set it up. We handled the original sale, helped theferg with a bunch of the parts and install and I was able to spend a bunch of time on the trail with him and the lovely rig. I knew it was a killer rig. His needs were changing (building a new 4x4 ) and I was seriously missing a BJ74.

Jenny has found a home :D

LXXIV (sold) on the left and Jenny on the right. More pics coming!

Nice add to the fleet.
Every cruiser lover should have a 7x. Will work on ours trough the Christmas to get it road worthy.
And next year a road trip to North America, ja?

Maybe in September for a certain event in Tennessee? ;)

From earlier in this thread, your farewell to LXXIV post, showing both these 74s... What an interesting coincidence that this was one of the pics you posted.... As I had no intention of getting rid of mine at that time.... :)

That is quite the coincidence

I'll always sell it back to you, destination fee, drayage, tax, license, title, market surcharge, fixed financing fee, emotional disconnect fee. :D

OK, I am bringing up this old build, for one it is a great example of a 74 and two I am getting some wheels powder coated soon and would like to know if you powder coated these or painted? And if you coated them do you recall what RAL color you used? Iv been looking at some charts and think I found one that is close, but if you had that info handy I would appreciate it!

They were coated locally by our good friends at Armor Coatings. I believe the color is "Lorge Grey". Armor Coatings would remember as we've had them do quite a few different bumpers/projects in that color. Hope that helps!

For sure! Thanks for the info!

I'll try and remember to ask them next time I'm on the ringer with them or in the office to peak at an invoice.

PS. I miss you LXXIV. Jenny isn't a bad gal but she's no LXXIV :D

Forgot to ask if those were white or chrome ones off of a 60?

Defiantly the truck that pushed me over the edge and in to a 74!

They were OE chromes, blasted and coated by Armor. They've done a bunch for us!
