It doesn't look like you've had a chance to road test anything yet. I am talking with Jim at Hydratech about ordering the unit they built for you. Did you have to do any modifications to the firewall to make it work? Also, do you think it'll work on my 68?

Tony, on the 74 out lines up and fits perfectly with no firewall mofication ... now the next truck the 66' with the 3 bolt its going to be much different and will likely be modifying the firewall to accommodate the 4 bolt pattern for the Hydrotech system but this wont be for a while.

That said, this one should be road worthy in the next few weeks and I will most definitely let you know just how well the system works

Cheers

Thanks Steve! For some reason mud won't let me private msg you. Weird.

I was wondering about the 3-bolt setup on mine. I can't imagine the modifications would be too terribly complicated. I don't plan on purchasing mine for a few months since I'm still very slowly tearing mine down to the frame. Would you please keep me posted? I am rather new to modifications and bigger projects like this.

Tony ... absolutely ! For sure in the next couple of months we will be working on the 66'
Stay tuned for some pics of the Hydroboost install that we are finishing up today

Cheers

Can you provide a link or pm me your paint source? I skimmed through and see it came from Toronto?
I’m getting ready to paint my 80 and I think you nailed it buddy, top notch.
Price? Color code? I’m sold
Thx

What your plan for the Meyers Manx? I have dream that I build one of those next with a suburb heart. It’d be a fun around summer car.

Thanks guys !!
Ryan ... here is the location
About Tempo

We sent them a sample of Audi Nardo grey, and they colour scanned it, I can tell you that the paint is real nice and hard as nails
I'm sure they ship all over the world

Archie ... Not mine buddy, that's my mechanic's back shop area

By the time we're done with this engine bay, should be REAL clean ... 95% done

Thanks for the info! I just got a price quote, not bad.

The sales agent wants a paint sample. Where did you come by one? Amazon has the touch up paint for 30 bucks but beyond that I’m not sure where to source a sample of the Nardo.
