PRE '63 Door Strikes for FJ40

Anyone have a source to get the strikes that go on the door? I have a mid 63 FJ40 door that has 63 and earlier locking hardware but post 63 window regulators.

I bought such a door regulator at landcruiser specialties. Maybe he also has the striker?

OK we actually sourced the door strikes but still need the tub strikes. LC Specialties does not have the tub strikes. All I could find was this pic I found here that shows most of the tub strike, check the upper right corner of the pic. I need 2 if anyone has any idea where source some. Thanks.

Thought I would show you guys what we are working on (my dad and I). Basically a 40 with mid 60's parts but some newer things as well as you can see with the windshield. Just building a clean and solid daily wheeler.

so you found the "U" shaped pieces for the doors?
you still need the pieces that go on the tub.
Let me dig threw some boxes this weekend and see what I find.

No expert but can't you use later ones?

Unfortunately not. That's what we have and they are not even close to working. Looking back we should have sourced some post 64 doors for ease of fit and replacement parts.

Don't know your location but we could possible trade doors.

Doors are already rebuilt with all new hardware, rubbers, felts and painted. Otherwise I would look into a trade. Thanks though!

Thanks! Much better pics of what I could find. We have the door strikes just missing the tubs ones. Looks like we may have to fab them with newer ones or something new altogether.
