Dan, those look great, very nice work. You can put me in line. Question- mine will be for my daily driver, so can you send out a set then I will send mine in, to elimate down time. Or should I find a set from the parts ads and send them to you? Thanks Guy

I have Gold centers on my 87, and I am not a big fan. Powder coating is going to be a major upgrade.

Hello Dan, Nice work. I have a FZJ80 and want to put locking hubs on it. I know it's not necessary but to cool to pass up. What would it cost me to have a complete set (early style) with blue dials ?

I just edited the first page.

Basically:

$35 to do just the hub faces
$50 to do the whole hubs, including the faces, plus cleaning and re-greasing the body. You've just to go supply the paper gaskets, Toyota has them cheap, as does Marlin.

What's the standard turn around for the whole hubs once you get them? I need to figure out when I can be without my truck for that period of time.
 
Are the wheels on your dad's FJ40 stock 16" originals? How wide are they and what size tires are on them. Would they clear the disk brakes on a FJ62?

About a week. Alternately, I have a complete set or two lying around that I'll be selling entirely soon (won't be cheap though ;) ) and would definitely be open to some trading there for you. I'll post them up when I get them done and ready to sell.

derklandwm: those are the stock 15" wheels. 33x9.50 tires. They clear the disc brakes on the 40, which are the same (AFAIK) on the 62.
