The googles says 3hr 32min from my house. I will leave between 8 and 830 just to be on the safe side.
The path is straight east on 42 to @AndrewHadji of Clayton and then south east down 70. I'm grabbing breakfast and lunch on the road and ice and gas closer to the ferry.
@AndrewHadji I have 3 open seats in 80. Let me know if you want me to swing by and pick you up.

Based on posts, John and I, Mike and Marie, Eric, Derek, Alex, Sean +1, Johnny +1, and Jonathan are staying cabins. Is that correct? Once I get confirmation, I'll total up who is going and the cost to split the total people between 2 or 3 cabins and see what people want to.

Google says it will take 3hrs to get to Morris Marina. That gives us 45 minutes to gas up and grab lunch once we are near the ferry and make our 12:30 appointment. I am going to grab breakfast in Fuquay. @AndrewHadji if you still want to go, let me know.

With 11 of us going it will be $100.64/person if we keep the third cabin. If we cancel the third cabin it will be $68.00/person ($32.64 less). The question is, is 32.64 worth it to spread out and have more room in each cabin plus an extra bathroom and kitchen?
I'm cool with doing two cabins, we did that last year. If people want the space and an extra bathroom/kitchen, I'd be okay shelling out a little extra dough for that too. My first choice is doing two cabins though.
Cancel the third. I'm going to camp. No reason to have that third for just me.

Derek, you make 12 if Mrs SeanLX comes; 11 if not. 6 beds per cabin. The 3rd cabin intent was just to have 4 max per cabin along with an extra toilet/shower and kitchen. Didn't know if anybody that hasn't already been there with us gets claustrophobic. Believe me, nobody would be sleeping single in a 6-person room! You'll have a bed, regardless, if you want it.
Shandor called me earlier and said he prefers 2 cabins but would be fine with 3 if that was the majority. We just need to know and cancel the 3rd by Tuesday (or Monday night?) to avoid paying for it.
I'm fine with either.

Food: Dinner - Let's get 1 or 2 people per cabin per night to step up with a main course for 6 and all of us can share with a few basic sides.
Food: B'fast - Figure out what we have and get both cabins going. Everybody bring either eggs or meat or biscuits (post what you're bringing).
MISC: I've got cleaner and wipes for the cabin. DAWN and sponges for dishes. 32 plates and 24 F/K/S. 24 solo cups.
I'll post a list or pic of my kitchen stuff on Monday after I've found it all.
I also plan to bring 2 kayaks and junk to explore the sound side. Happy to share.

I guess since I had been listed as the only person in that cabin (and still am, as of this posting), I had been planning on camping. Have my tent ready and all. Also decided to bring one of the pups with me.
At this point, I'm going to go that route.

Are we going to dinner as two separate cabins or all try to get into one cabin for dinner? Laura and I will come up with something to bring. Hoping to catch a fish or two to eat!!
