Ok so I recently bought and 08 tundra and the need to have 4 trucks in the driveway just inst there right now. So I have decided to list my LX. The truck is very rust free, is does have a small dent in the passenger quarter around the tail light from the PO hitting the side of his garage that has a little surface rust. Overall it is a very solid truck that runs and drives great and I’ll be sad to see it go
maintenance performed
1997 Lexus LX450 280k
new valve cover gasket OEM
new pcv valve and the 2 upper breather hoses OEM
new exhaust manifolds with all new hardware
plugs and wire set OEM
new brake pads all around
CSF metal rad coolant flush
new thermostat OEM
new battery
285/75r16 BFG KO2's
the cons:
oil pump seal has a small leak
the front seats need to be replaced or recovered same with the steering wheel
the a/c belt needs a new tensioner
Its a great truck and with the rise in 80 series prices rust free stock ones are getting harder to find at least in my experience. interior id get 7/10, body id give 7/10 few dents and could use a really good buff/paint correction. rust free 9/10 its really nice underneath. the only thin that has been "modified" is I did redo the exhaust it still has the factory cats only thing that has changed is muffler to an A/M one and it exits right before the rear axle ( it sounds really good IMO )
I do understand most of you will want undercarriage photos which I will get. I have arranged to put it up on my neighbors lift this weekend so I can take those photos
7500 is the asking price
