Is there someone out there selling these pop top conversions?

Could be one of the French manufacturer's - maybe this one.

You could probably modify a Westy top to fit.

A pop-top on an 80 is small and cramped, but a 73 is next level! A camper wouldn't be bad.

There is a lot less space inside a 73 then an 80 series, I think unless your max 4ft tall or like to sleep in the fetal position I would not recommend a pop top on a 73/74......... that being said they seem to be floating around in France and pop up for sale from time to time

I've seen that picture before and thought "Man, that's a cool looking rig". Very trick the way the lines of the pop-top echo the lines on the original FRP top. Was thinking it would be a little tight for sleeping, but if the platform goes all the way over the front seats, it might be long enough for a shorter fella.

No success finding the website that's printed on the graphics on the truck--"www.4x4offroadequipment.com"--that website doesn't seem to exist. Not sure where I saw it or read about it, but I'm pretty sure I saw that it has a 1HD-t swapped in.

The decals on the window and around roof looks like kangaroos ? there is a www.offroadequipment.com.au here in Perth, but nothing like that conversion. The licence plate looks Arabic and the hood emblem and landscape is popular in that neck of the woods ?

I am searching for a left-hand-drive 75 troopy. In the meantime my mind wanders...

I saw this one last summer. At a certain point the laws of physics should outweigh the desire for a camperized 73...
