I am leaving Sunday and going through Flagstaff. We are going to stop in Monument Valley and Moab on our way into SLC. I doubt they want to tag along.

I haven't chimed in because it's a long shot, but if by some miracle I get mine ready in time I'll be coming from SoCal.

The Short List:
Figure out why the Trollhole carb I installed is backfiring
Reseal the front axle and install front and rear LOKKA's
Change the pitman arm bushing
Go through the brakes, replace brake lines

Throw Troll carb away and PM me for connect to a re-builder for the stock one in OC. Been down that route.

Nice campground with facilities at Goulding’s Resort in the heart of Monument Valley. We stayed there en route to the North Rim last year.

Thanks Eric, I’ll PM you. When I bought the 55, it had a Holley/Offy setup that was dumping fuel all over the headers. Without a stock carb to rebuild I decided to buy the Trollhole carb and find a stock intake and air cleaner. Since then, I did end up acquiring what looks like a rebuildable original.

Throw Troll carb away and PM me for connect to a re-builder for the stock one in OC. Been down that route.
