Regarding base camp location. I did not review all of Evans options to be able to make an intelligent assumption on the best location to gather. Only passed through those areas a few time over the years.

There is no "Kansas".

When you cross through Missouri, you enter a well camouflaged building where there is a treadmill. They show a movie that lasts for 5 minutes and it constantly loops.

June average temps for North Rim/Jacob Lake area are highs of 73 degrees and lows of 40 degrees. Good camping and wheeling weather.

Is there a camp site picked out yet? I want to reserve as soon as i can. Also i dont like not seeing this thread on the second page. I dont have time or funds to make changes on the Doomer so i have to live vicariously thru everyone else and over plan this trip to satisfy my H1N1.
