Hi,

Does anyone have the part numbers for Koyo/Timken for the front and rear wheel bearings on a '99 model 100?

I think I recorded the Timken #'s when I did it a couple years ago. I'll check for you tonight.

wheel bearings

We stock them:
1 LM102910 / LM102949
1 JLM506849 / JLM506810
1 TOY90311-70011
per side

Thanks for that.

Do you have the numbers for the back as well or are they the same as the 80s?

And thanks for the offer of supplying them, I already have a supplier over here in the UK and want to get some in before working on a couple of 100s next week.

rear

The rear is Semi-float (unless its a 105), and use a sealed ball bearing pressed on to the axle shaft. These are a Toyota dealer item.

Timken numbers:

Front Wheel:
Part Type - Location - Timken Part Number - Qty Req.
Seal - (Inner) - 710456 - 1
Cone - (Inner) - JLM506849A - 2
Cup - (Inner) - JLM506810 - 2
Set - (Outer) - SET47 - 2

Rear Wheel:
Part Type - Location - Timken Part Number - Qty Req.
Ball Bearing - - 510011 - 2

Looks like that rear bearing is sealed, the 80 shows a separate seal. I prefer Timken over Koyo, on the advice of my bearing suppliers.
I've not done this, I just looked up the numbers. Please post pics, I'm hoping I'll own this long enough to need them!

Bumping this thread.

Need to replace the inner/outer bearings ASAP and keep coming across the Koyo brand bearings. Are these any good? OE equivalent? Any recommendations for a supporting vendor that sells a front wheel bearing kit? I only just need driver and passenger side bearings (inner outer) with a new oil seal.

Thanks!

I used Koyo inner and Timken outer bearings a couple of years ago. A simple repack before a trip turned into a big expense when I found pitting on the stock bearings at 300k. Since it was right before a trip this was the combination of bearings I could source the quickest. I just repacked these bearings after 35k miles and the Koyo's and Timken's looked the same. I wouldn't hesitate to run a full Koyo set of wheel bearings.

Ping @cruiseroutfit , Cruiser Outfitters, they can hook you up with the right stuff.

Totally!

The kits from @cruiseroutfit are top notch, I personally went Timken because they're $10 cheaper and just as reliable as Koyo. It's all personal preference though. Don't forget to have something to pull the axle out far enough to measure and install a new snap ring (shameless plug) :)
