I just finished reading this thread and now I really want parabolics, I've heard of them before and couldn't find too much info on them, but now I don't think I want anything else. thanks steve!

I have a full set o parabolics sitting in the garage waiting for me to put them on. I t/w steveO, he said the 3 &4 leafs were real stiff, so I got the 2 leafs. Now trying to find the right shocks, wanted bilstien but can't seem to get a set that will fit a 3" lift....sigh so I' looking at other brands now. Also going to get the U-bolt flip, but that could wait. Not going to run out of them or shocks. Of course now I have to get rid of the set of new OME rear heavies that I picked up from a mudder in Portland Or. They rode great on the floor board of the wagon from Wa to Sc. can we say ballast?

Spring, shackes, sway bar extensions and bushings set me back 818 plus the ride. Still need shocks and u-bolt flip kit. I was told that unless you are going to be hauling heavy loads all the time, not to get the 3-4 leafs. That being said, you can get them and take off one or 2 of course. I thought about that....but I doubt that I will ever have heavy loads really. Hope to get all the rest of the stuff by the end of Jan, and installed by the end of Feb....... :shotts:

smooth rider

The ride was only 160 to SC. I also had it shipped to a frieght dock on a pallet saving the home delivery charge. I opted for the TIC, they are a very pretty blue. Getting ichy to get everything ordered and installed. :bounce: In the mean time I'm mooning over hydraulic winches. Runva exports to AU but not US....so I'm keeping my eyes open for a used one. They don't burn up like electrics. But of "curse" that means a new winch bumper, don't really like the Warn I have now with the 6K winch. sigh :crybaby:

That they do, but IIRC Kurt pointed out in another thread about them that it's not as complete as his and they stole pictures of his buddies FJ60.

Ya, I am interested in these parabolics as well. Going to be doing something with a lift and am chomping at the bit.

i just did the front of my cruiser with the 2 spring parabolics, lifted it higher than i thought, the rear has re-arched springs with longer shackles but now its got the saggy ass in comparison. i think this is a little high for SOA but well see how it settles. i havent got to drive it except out of the shop as i been getting the rear u-joints done, but i think it'll ride nicely. i'd post some pics but having troubles with resizing again.
