Lol. The proper sticker is nla.
Since this is basically going to be invisible, i decided to skip it. Same reasons i didn't paint or treat the aluminum.
That and trying to keep it cheap.

Currently being delayed since my winch plate is lost in the circuits of fedex.

Progress. This started as a Barnes dual pull 33"
This is initial fitting. Needs some gussets etc

Very nice!

So tonight I went ahead and finished welding. I built new cables and installed the contactor.
Im waiting on a few bits, need some heatshrink and P-clamps.
This project should be finished up next week.
Here are the final mock up pics.
As promised, it is mostly invisible. Once the mount is painted, itll be hard to see.

Last of the bits showed up. Got her all bolted up and....... Motor doing dumb shyt. After several hours flailing, i got it dialed....... I think. Im going to likely have this motor serviced. (theres a reason i pulled it off the 8274.)
Anyway this one was shorting to the case, bolt broke, had to swap parts from the other shytty motor. Blah blah blah. I guess im happy im good at diag.

So, when i take it to the mall, how should I roll?

Sweet setup for sure. Always wanted to do that with my 80 since there was so much room under there. Came 1 ticket away from winning the winch at our last raffle for McGrew and that would have been the push to do it. Pull someone up your driveway, that will get the rope all squared away!

It worked long enough to properly tension spool the rope. Must be GTG meow. :flipoff2:
This ended up with about 60' of usable rope on the drum. I used the drop to build a 25' extension.

Went up to CTW for Friday's run.
We did not get many pics. Gorgeous day driving up the coast Thursday.
Spectacular weather Friday as well.
Long drive back today. We witnessed and were pretty much first on the scene to an suv/trailer roll over on I5. Crazy seeing it go down. We thought it might come over the barrier for a second.
Older couple and their dog were banged up but seemed okay and some other guys helped them out of the vehicle. After they were clear we bailed. 8 hours today. I fûcking love this rig.

The updated 8274 made short work.
The Coopers continue to be impressive. Was nice to see our group/run primarily Coops vs bfg.
Weird to see the tires people use when they aren't sponsored (read:free tires)

Very nice, now you won't get high from the fumes ;)
