I wonder if those blinker cutouts are designed for aftermarket turn signals? You would think they would tell you that ahead of time or at least give you the option of holes cut for stock turn signals or aftermarket signals. I will be interested to see how the assembly goes for you. It always surprises me when companies ship kits like this without any instructions.

The funny part is, I gave them the measurements of the stock blinkers and they cut the holes to big. Apparently they don't usually sell this as a kit, that's what they said anyway. Waiting on the pics from them and I'll get started asap tacking everything together first.

How the heck are you gonna mount those turn signals? Did they give you tabs or something?

If you are not using the original bumper you could cut around the original mounting hole and graft them onto the new bumper.

I'm gonna make and weld my own tabs, I was afraid they would mess it up.

To clarify I was just referring to the turn signal mounts. My old bumper was beat up to bad to resell so I grafted the turn signal mounts into my bumper for a nice clean rounded edge.

Blue Lake Offroad did. They seem to have solid products, but the get horrible reviews primarily complaining about welds and customer service.

They normally don't sell their bumpers as kits, but I didn't want to take my chances with their welds so I'm gonna do it myself.

Ok I asked for drawings/pics from BLO so I knew how they designed this. This is all I got from them after 5 days of asking...

Special Notes:
Front Wi:
- See sample drawing for the critical angle
- Reccomend you can mock it up on it to make sure he has it right

Rear MC:
- On the rear the wings flare 1" wider on each side than the base.
- Reccomend you can mock it up on it to make sure he has it right.

I'm gonna look this over with the parts, but this is probably going to shed very little light. Frustrating...

Finally some good news! My top finally came in and so far everything looks good. This is the first new style KTT Killer Toy Tops has came out with. Internal style metal cage with canvas top. One small bent pin so far, but I'm confident it will be reconciled.

Unpacked and everything is looking great, hoping to install in a few days. Fingers crossed I find the time!

Top off, bar out...I was told the top has never been removed. Not sure if that's true. Going for a quick ride with my boy to HD!

Ok so it's not been fun and there's been a few problems so far. However the company says they are going to send some replacements for damaged parts. I'm also only the 3 owner of this new system so there's bound to be issues.

Damage in shipping.

These corners needed to be rounded off with a file to fit the body contour.

Well lots happening and plenty of hick ups. I'm waiting to hear from the owner of the company to see how he plans to resolve the issues. I'll hold out on details till I talk to him.

The canvas is on and despite some problems it looks great.
