Gotta quit this surgery stuff, Don. Or have the surgeons use zippers instead of stitches.
I had both knees done about 6 years ago at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, where thank-you pics and jerseys from the likes of Tom Brady hang on the walls. Doc there refused my request to do them both at the same time. Said it increased dangers of infection and hampered rehab. First surgery was done early in the week and he wanted me in rehab back at home by Friday. Pretty amazing to rest a couple of hours after awakening, have them get me walking in the hallway, wheel me to the elevator and front door and have me walk to the car. In and out in about 6 hours. Hope your surgery goes as well.
