Intersection. I won’t argue with u there. Especially in a place like downtown where there are more pedestrians and crosswalks.
but right turns into driveways?
Right turns into parking lots?

I concede that sometimes, yes you do have to slow down due to pedestrians or obstructions where visibility is limited but not every single right turn.

maybe it’s just me. But just keep in mind what I am saying next time your driving and maybe you will notice it. Again, it doesn’t bother me just think it is weird that people do that.
That make sense now. I too thought your meant a "right on red" situation. But yeah, folks here do tend to almost stop to turn into a driveway/parking lot, etc. I have a habit of saying to myself "piss or get off the pot" when I'm behind them.

“Do you even overland bro?”

*not my personal picture unfortunately. I never got to stuff a vehicle as cool as this in the back of a helicopter.

A mere day after we discussed how people can't drive on roundabouts... A giant SUV came to complete stop on the one @ my work, no warning, right in front of me. Proceeded to sit in the middle of it for two minutes. Almost got out to see if they'd had a stroke.

Kind of an impulse buy, but I got my hands on a rust free low mileage 80-series with turbo diesel and JDM factory spare tire swing out. There’s some work to do and I’ll need to paint it, but this project should be wrapped up in a few day.

I've been very tempted to buy one of those! But I still got a General Lee from forever ago still in the box I haven't put together

I got a few of those. Gave 9ne to my nephew and the other is sitting till I find the time to make a micro crawler out of it.

I wonder if the new Tundra will still be super exciting at launch?? I may be converting to Ford LOL:

This:

Plus this:

ARB fridge, food and cloths up front. Camping gear in the back.

I'm pretty sure the Tundra will be underwhelming - V6 1GR-FE, maybe turbo'd. I keep the bar low with TMC and will keep driving my FJC until I can no longer get parts.

"Lightning" was a Ford marque/trim level in the past for it's pickups. So rebranding this EV model is just good marketing.

I told my wife some time back that as soon as the big 3 embraced EVs, we'd see a revolution of the auto industry. We can thank Tesla for leading the way, but I bet they will be quickly eclipsed as the big boys throw more and more resources at this technology. Ford is investing $30B in EV. GM will surely have to follow suit. I am excited to think there will be far more affordable and better built EVs hitting the market over the next several years. I've been a Chevy guy, outside of Toyota, but man Ford is just killing it all around the last several years.

The mustang mach-e by contrast, is not good marketing imo. If it was a mustang with an e-motor, like the new lightning is, it'd be a different story.

I wonder if douche bags will still park their trucks in front of EV chargers ("ICE'ing"??) - might be harder at the Ford dealerships during EV fill ups.

I spoke with a Sales guy at Welford Harris Ford in Siler City about a reservation. He said that they are not an EV dealer yet and would have to put in the EV power station before they can sell the truck. They had no ETA for that.

Ford is basing their initial footprint of EV charging on using their dealerships along with a partnership I need to research.

I'm "scared" that our our grid will keep up with the EV revolution. It can't stand up to the current needs. Everyone can not afford solar panels at home and wonder how much EV fill ups will be 10 years from now when both Ford and Chevy are producing nearly 100% new EV.

Yea - they are SO ugly online and look more like the love child of a Tesla and a BMW/Jaguar.

I did see one in Pittsboro the other day and thought it looked good in person vs pictures - - just . not a Mustang nor a Mustang Mach 1.

Couldn't agree more.

Count me in then!!
