Would you rock this as a daily?

If you asked me in 1993, the answer would have been no. But these little econoboxes have grown on me.
2 door?? Manual?? hell yes

shares the chassis with the Kadet which had a pretty good rally career and lots of parts available through that avenue.

I'd also just do a Kadet front grill swap.

Glad I’m not the only one. Rabbits, Omni’s chevettes, all those little basic boxes and yeah manual of course. Drove an 81 rabbit for a few years. The 4 speed with the gas 1.7 was awesome. Until I drove my buddy’s 84 GTI and realized what a few more hp and a bit tighter suspension meant. Nirvana.

Thats all good and blah blah guys, but hey, you can tell that chick you want to impress "Oh, I forgot to lock my 'Vette, be right back"

I had a 1978 Rabbit at UNC-Wilmington back in the late 80s/early 90s. $400. I had to spray paint the hood. It was so slow and FUN. The best was racing my friend in his 4 door automatic rabbit and my throttle cable broke. Plus his was newer with more HP. Fun car until I was driving down I40 coming back from work and the radiator hose came off and it overheated in a blink. The engine seized up. Had it towed and sold it to a guy for $200. I removed my killer stereo. ;<)

Unless the ‘girl’ is 50 and wearing an affliction shirt, she’s not gonna care about a vette. :)

I had to dislike that! LOL I think "those people" buy newer vettes like 5th gens ! :)

Gorgeous lines on the classic fiberglass bodies!!

One day i'll fulfill my child hood dream and buy a vette.... may be a early 90's ZR1 if everything goes right if not then a C5 or C6 base model will work as a black canvas.

While i'd love a classic, they are way too expensive.... I have a set amount that I won't go over when buying any car... unless the lotto comes through... LOL.

Can you even fit in a vette?
