One of these days I am going to do something "full tits." First I am going to figure out what it means and then I will do it, because it sounds like "all in" only a lot better and not some trash corporate speak thing.

Pretty sure its the opposite of half assing

Edit: I would google it, but I have taken a chastity vow after reading the Kellen Winslow story :\

Just keep drinking lots and lots of heavy ales and beer. You'll be full tits in no time, and the chastity will take care of itself. ;)

 The matrix is strong today......

i would like to stretch a 45 cab about a foot or so and put it on an 80 chassis. or maybe get one of those aftermarket kits. not sure i want a 4 door but the 45 cab is kind of tight.

Yeah. Not quite a fan of the 4 door conversations. But agree that making an extended cab 45 is the way to go. I like the idea of the 80 frame but don’t like the fact that you either have to widened the body or widened the fenders.

My approach would be to stick with the stock 40 frame and stretch it as much as needed to fit a 40 body cut into an extended cab with the tub modified to make a short bed. Once that is done I would fit 80 axles under neath (mainly because I already have them), on leaf springs at first with plans to 4 link in the future. Then top it off with one of those new Cummins engines the turbo 2.8.

The axle width is why you'd have to widen the fenders or body unless you are planning on narrowing the axles.

Yeah I just watched a couple of YouTube videos and your right. I was under the impression that the width of a stock 40 cab was not wide enough to clear an 80 frame.
But the examples I had seen before were not that great so it made the fenders look funny.

The aqualu looks like a pretty viable option. They obviously know what they are doing and the proportions of their body look right.

I would love for them to make the bodies fit a 100 series. That way you could have the V8 then swap in a solid front axle from an 80. So now you would have a nice new body, Toyota v8 and solid axles.

Toyota V8s are over rated. :) I've had a conversation with a guy that has an 80 (might be a 60 it's been a month or two) with a 4.7L Toyota swap in it and he wants an LS3. Not enough power in the 4.7L according to him.

Yeah the LS is a proven platform but i mention the 100 since it already comes with a v8. It be one less initial purchase.

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful Dad's out there! It seems to me that IH8MUD / ONSC Dads are some of the best :)

I think having a flared out awd turbo starlet would be a hoot to cruise around in. A roller skate on roids

I've seen more Starlets (both RWD and FWD) since moving here than I have the rest of my life combined.

A few more of the garage area of the restaurant. All the really good stuff was around the corner away from prying eyes.

Outside was cruisers and coffee

Torfab just got done swapping the Cummins 2.8 FJ62 to 80 coils and locked axles. Next for him is a different torque converter.
