This scientist predicted all that crap! We are doomed. Thoughts and prayers?

Makes my short drives for work look like Childs play

Its an excellent book too, they did take a lot of detours in the name of "science", which was part of the expedition funding. I would also recommend this one I am halfway through now..

Have and have read them both. I'd say the first overland is a better book.
Guy is pretty amazing to do a return trip at his age and in the original vehicle.

There are also two documentaries out there for it. The short one I posted in the YouTube post a while back. There is a second longer one I saw on the BBC a long time ago which is what lead me to buying the book in the first place.

Let me know what you think when done.

Now if we could just get Albert Podel and Harold Steven's to do the same in the Cruiser and Jeep they used for who needs a road. Would be the original vehicles though since they sold the jeep enroute when some members left the expo and also the cruiser was stolen from their property 2 decades ago and has never resurfaced.

I took the night off and watched "The First Purge" - found myself cheering for drug dealers and thinking "see - even inner cities need guns for law abiding citizens." I wonder if members of angry white militias enjoy this movie or . . .

I watched the first, suffered through the second and gave up on watching 3, 4, 5, etc.......

So this is the explanation of how The Purge started - prequel to 1 and 2.

It may be an unfair generalization, but I think members of angry white militias have trouble enjoying much at all. Or just angry militias. Not wanting to discriminate here.

hmmm always wanted an actual IMSA car......

Think we found a way to keep my Tacoma and still pull a nice big travel trailer. Yesterday my wife finally got a new to us sequoia that replaced our highlander. Lots more room all the kids are happy with it. The 5.7 is a lot of fun to drive even in the big ole green bus.

Wasn’t sure where to put this. Saw the new G on the road yesterday. The one we IFS and it does not look good in person. Looks like fred flinestone mobile. Low and flat and the fender flares are way to wide. Looked like it was sitting on he ground because of the visual effects of the wider body, lower spare tire and those wide fender flares.
