one more newbie searching for the right fj40...

Hello all, I have just moved to the upstate of SC. I do not have a cruiser YET, however i am looking for one. you know how it goes new area, need to go out truck spotting to find the gems in barns...

what i am looking for... (would prefer to find) I know it is a tall order but here goes

stock 74-80 fj40 for cruising and light to moderate wheeling (cullowhee area type stuff)

Body: fair condition - does not have excessive bondo and does not need emergency surgery

drivetrain - solid 2f - once again does not need emergency surgery

I plan on the typical upgrades... steering, brakes, lift, lockers so i would prefer not to have to promise my first born on the price.

I know... tall order but i am patient and my 40 is out there somewhere waiting to go wheeling with me....

You can go to Autotrader.com and narrow your search and get the same listings that are in the printed version. I've sold a couple vehicles through there... works great. And, will save you the drive.
