ok. steering stabilizer defeated.
ended "having" to cut the can/cover off the shock.

today started out with me finding rust on the gears etc of donor trans.
which means my day was spent rebuilding one tranny from two. ive been sitting on a 2wd R150 for just this occasion. lol :rolleyes:

unfortunately most of the other panels are hammered dog shyt from sun. this one cleaned up alright.
something definitely to be said for single stage paint.

clutch bits.
transmission installed (at least temporarily)
clutch hydraulics installed.
little bit of fůckery with the 2nd gen 4runner pedal assembly. note to self, use the same gen next time. appears the clutch pedal is slightly further to the driver side.
made the mc hit the outside of the firewall unevenly. little massage ftw.
cant really justify double the price for the aisin/asco clutch. let's be real, it's 80hp 🤣
oe hydraulics are a necessity ime.

I can see the obvious difference in the first two pics. In the last pic, the shorter tank looks wider.

Is it a bolt in upgrade?
yes. because of the depth, obviously the cradle and level sender are tank specific.
the fp plug is the same. the fl is different because the 85 didn't have the low fuel lamp. ill have to add the one wire i think. i have not checked the truck at the A pillar plug.

manual isn't showing a light
