moar garage fůckery today. two steps forward one steps back.
housing installed, knuckles, hy-steer stuff mocked up.
parts nonsense today. wrong carrier bearings from the parts house monkey
that and i thought i was going to put two steering boxes together and make a good one.... nope. i learned today minutes ago that there is a 3 or 4 tooth piston/sector set. fml.
i was pretty positive all parts are 92+ ......
for a pleasant surprise, this truck has 5.29 diffs so there's a couple of recoup dollars.

so today was a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
would you believe the parts house got the wrong bearings again. i guess v6 mini truck diff bearings are a fücking mystery.
Anyway went to tear down and regear the elocker. much to my surprise, it's geared 4.30 so i didn't have to. small victories i guess.
knuckles came off since i didn't install the felts and stuff. just failed yesterday.
tried to aquire a new steering box but guy is a freak so maybe ill try again tomorrow
I went ahead and tore out the rear axle. gravy except for the u-bolts which ultimately met the zip wheel from hell.

today's update.
im lazy
i did get the right bearings today.
I realized that the front pin of the rear spring does not match the bushings or pin in the kit.
called my vendor to see if there's a different pin, bushings or sleeve that is supposed to go there.
i did source a new to me steering box. (from a different guy)
i ordered some stuff from Skys Offroad with the intention of retrieval tomorrow, but they're closed. doh
will go next week.
