All the pieces look almost identical. Kind of wonder if it's a bad batch. None of the holes made compression though. Still not 100% if I or the tool was screwing up.
Edit : tried again. Still nada.

Any chance the valves are stuck? 3 outta 4 makes me think it was parked for a while and then they rusted in place. When it was attempted to fire up the rockers broke? Pound on a valve and see if it moves. Super weird.
 
Cold timing is fine. Valves move but you're right about it sitting. I saw a video of it running. So they were probably damaged on start and then failed. Either way head has to come off. #3 has no comp but it didn't break. So likely a bent valve. Random but, when it sounds like it isn't making compression, it's because it isn't. :flipoff2:

Hmmmm.
Matrix has a funny sense of humor.

So the 4.0L option is off the table. After waiting 6+ months for this clown shoe to bring this donor from white city, turns out you can't add mini cases to the six speed.

Tried to move it....... Nope.

Saturday im going to throw some money at my buddy for my old RE rebuild.
Looking for a w56 or G5x or r151.
