I'm pretty sure the 70 series switch sizes are specific to 70, there is another mud member making cool custom rockers and switches for 80 series, but alas, no fit.

I don't know of anyone doing a solution for the 70 series clock, but there is a mud member making a mini switch/gugae panel for the ashtray space. But again, I don't remember who, I'm just not good about bookmarking this stuff.
Portland duder. Purchased one of his early prototypes >

Here it is

Every time something is opened up, something else is wrong.

Need a new ring and pinion for my rear diff. Toyota OEM parts ordered by my diff shop and to be installed.

I was just about to comment re: the carb that you might be better off ordering a new one, and the above post showed up... Yeah. Probably cheaper in the long run just to order a new carb.

Got the truck back from locker install. Will route wiring and cabling this weekend to get her installed.

The new ring and pinion they installed seems to have really smoothed out my takeoff from a stop.

Wired in the E-Locker this weekend. Ran the locker wiring from the rear locker, against the frame brake line, over the transfer case on top of the steel tub, then up into the engine bay alo g where the speedo cable runs.

Originally was going to go to the battery side, but then the cable was going to run right next to the header as it moves to the exhaust coming into the engine bay by the battery.

Put 1/2 inch wiring loom over the entire locker cable for protection.

Below is my electrical drawing, unsure if I did it right, but have confirmed the locker engagesby doing the "4 wheels off the ground test and I try and stop a spinning tire in 1st gear to test the open diff test".

Very scientific I know.

This video was also very helpful.

Instead of tapping a fuse, I am currently getting power to the switch via the OEM clock pigtail, there is a live 8 pin pigtail right above the front speaker, but I don't have the connector to wire this in.

Anyone with a 70 series should buy this kit from Vintage Connections.

Confirmed, part# 84160-90K01 fits perfectly into the slots below the HVAC on the 70 series dash.

Will order new decals for whatever I end up putting down here from this gentleman: Products - https://mofaraz.com/collections/all

@c2dfj45 hooked me up with his speaker door pockets. On the hunt for a tiny amplified subwoofer that fits under my planted brackets.

Had to slightly enlarge the hole coming out the door to the hinge. Had to add a hole into the footwell as there are none on my troopy.

Why does teh door pocket have a gap between speaker pod and the other piece the pocket bolts to ? Is there a reason or just the size of his printer

I'm sorry, what are you saying?

Are you referring to the map pocket having tiny gaps against the larger piece that holds the speaker?

Believe it's so sand, etc don't get trapped in the map pocket.

I could be wrong, but I think he might be asking about the gap that is there to accommodate a water bottle, narrow coffee tumbler, or 12oz adult beverage.
