You guys have a part number?

Side question... what loom are you using for your new wiring?
None atm, @cruisermatt makes a nice option I will probably jump for sometime soon

Merry Christmas everyone!

Before I go on an internet scavenger hunt, does anyone recommend a replacement for the door trims for the pinch welds on the inside of both the front doors and the rear bay doors? Is anyone using standard U channel trim in some sort of gray? Have found the OEM parts for the trims, but shipping from overseas just doesn't seem worth it if I can find suitable replacement stateside.

6231560050B0 (x2) From a 2022 VDJ7x, HZJ7x, etc. Stuff for my 1995 is no longer available.

62333-90K01-E0 Trim Sub-Assy, Back Door Opening, OEM part for a 1995 FJZ75.

I'm also planning to buy the 64707-90K01-B0 Cover Sub-Assy, Quarter Trim Jack.

Merry Christmas Paul. I’m out of town for the holidays, but when I get home in a couple of days I’ll send you some uchannel pinch weld options that are available locally. I found some in gray that I was happy with.

Here ya go, maybe one of these will work for you:
@Bogan used a pinch weld + side bulb seal for his front doors and seemed pretty happy with this product

And I used this grey, u-channel pinch weld trim that came from amazon
Amazon product ASIN B019T30ML0
amazon offers a number of edge/pinch weld trim in black and with the attached side bulb seal, you might have to do some hunting for the correct height and grip that you need:

and
Amazon product ASIN B017WSXNMO
Hopefully that helps your search

I'm happy with the trim I'm using from Amazon also, quality is always questionable, but its holding up great, i'd link it for you but it's black.

please do, black may be alright for what I'm looking for. None of my interior matches anyway

Installed the Odd Iron Offroad 70 series recovery point today. Only thing on the market that will fit with an ARB bull bar it seems.

Of note, they're sold as singles, so get two if you want to run a brindle for recoveries.

Your order benefitted from a recent design change. All of the new fabrications will have this area tapered to better accommodate soft shackles. 😊

Hi
The water gets in by the weatherstrip window to door. But even if that strip is good, still water passes by. That's pretty much by design. It just shouldn't accumulate.
There are several drain holes across the bottom door sills, which need to be poked free at times. (Use plastic or wood to not scratch the inner rust protection)
Also there should be a plastic sheet glued to the door under the door trim card. Often that is ripped or not attached to the door any more, letting water in.
But that's all about it. Dead simple.
Cheers Ralf

Thanks Ralf. I reinstalled the plastic sheeting when I upgraded my door cards. I'll see if I can find a picture somewhere.

Glad to know the water is normal, will make sure to clean out the drains!

Do you have a speedometer cluster that doesn't have a tach? Doesn't have an oil gauge, doesn't have a battery voltage, goes to 200kph when that's totally excessive?

Well do I have good news for you! With the help of @Zee and @dzehner12 I was able to get this upgraded cluster to work in my troopy!

I have the wiring manual, but was told by @dzehner12 that this was relatively plug and play except for the oil pressure sender. The one on our troopy's is a single wire, the one for these clusters is a two wire sender. The plug is right next to the oil pressure sender, but I don't have the correct part to replace mine right now, so I just disconnected it.

More pics to follow.

Zee had to have his connections in Pakistan do some creative solutions to get the tach to work, but honestly I don't care what they had to do to make it work.
