Wondering if it's common practice to use a new oil plug gasket every oil change? (FJ40)

I don't on any of my other vehicles but now my 40 is marking his territory again and is subject to banishment by the queen!

FWIW - Advise I was given a few years ago, replace the gasket at every oil change.

... And I have several spares but didn't think about it!

Anyone know the Toyota part# for these gaskets ('82-40)? I have 2 from SOR @ $1.70 each... Bet Toyota sells them cheaper?

Thanks

Mines started the same in the last 2 months or so. I think the oil plug gasket is contributing. Walmart has a nice flat metal tray in the auto section that is good for putting under vehicles and catching drips the queen probably wouldn't notice it under there

Scratch that... just found it but think SOR is a wee bit less :meh:
