"by feel" is how many of the original plastic filter covers got stuck to the point of breaking when being opened the next time. Also the spec of 30ft-lb on the oil drain plug always "feels" too tight to me, but that's the spec and I haven't had any problems when I set it there.

@Fj60+ gaijin was correct on suggesting a 3/8" model. You'll have trouble finding one that goes low enough for oil filter changes (9 for the filter cap plug, 18 for the cap, 30 for the oil pan drain plug), and high enough for lug nuts (97), basically requiring two. I have a Neiko Pro 03707B 3/8" 15-80 that I use for a lot of average jobs, and a 50-250 for big suspension stuff and lug nuts. For some reason amazon isn't listing that specific 15-80 anymore, just the large and smaller sizes.. maybe out of stock. Others are available though.

Strictly speaking having an in-lb wrench also doesn't hurt.. mine was about $40 and is used regularly for the filter cap plug and my KDSS screws.
Thanks for all the advice, I ended up with a 3/8 10-80lbs wrench and a 3/8” to 1/2” adapter for the filter tool. Got some red and tacky for the drive shaft while I’m down there and a TRD filter, new drain plug/washer from Toyota. I appreciate all the help guys, used to a 84” 60 series and that’s the easiest thing on the planet.

Red is good, but i myself like the green waterproof. Depends on if you're in the water or not.

It is good to smear some grease on the KDSS valve's when you're down there.

Where's the best place to get the fumoto valve? OR is it better to just get the bjowett valves? Are ez drain and fumoto equal or is one better than the other?

I buy my Fumotos from Fumoto website directly. Fumoto

They are both good, I got mine on amazon.

I also use a piece of 3/8 fuel line to stick on the drain valve and pipe it into my oil drain pan for no mess.

So it looks like the 133 supersedes the 103 now.

Yes.

You would be better off with the 3/8" fuel line as it will stand up to hot oil. That clear line will not.

Draining oil is hardly hot enough to effect the clear line IMHO. It's more a matter of choice, pretty soon someone will be using drain line that has stainless braided reinforcement because , well because it's stronger. My $0.95 worth of clear hose works for me but I'm cheap and it should last 100K miles of changes unless I lose it.

I made the comment because I did try using that clear line at first and it came apart. It turned all yellow and brital. I though it might be nice to see when it finished draining. It wasn't some thought, it was experience. Think it lasted 3 oil changes.

Well, I've used it 3 times now, and it still looks the same as the day I took it out of the Fumoto package. If it's good enough for them to sell in the kit, it works for me. :meh:

In the interest of disclosure fuel line hose has universally higher standards that run of the mill clear plastic tubing so if you go clear look for a better quality.

I went with the F103S (now F133S),
Is that a Toyota crush washer behind the 103?
Or does the fumoto have a rubber gasket like the ezdrain?

Oy. I honestly don't remember. I think it's one of the usual drain plug washers, since I keep them on hand.

Looks like it has the silver layer of aluminum like the OE part to me.

The Fumoto F133 includes a fiber type washer.

I've now got the F133 on order for my 200. I'll go ahead and do my next oil change just to get this installed so that I don't have to drop my Budbuilt skids in the future. I have multiple oil changes available to me from the local dealer, but will just push them off until next fall when I do the following change. I just don't want anyone messing with the skids each time I need an oil change.
