Maybe it is a California thing. May have different pump design due to some type of regulation I have not run in too. My rig has not been out West, yet. California tends to play by a different set of rules. Company I work for owns some significant real estate in San Francisco and trying to develop anything is torture. Shadow ordinance killed our last project.

It may very well be a California thing. I'm originally an Iowan but have adopted California for its mountains, ocean and climate. This gas pump issue might just cause me to consider a return to the homeland.

Its definitely a California thing, some pumps just dont stay on when clicked in, it seems like if its not a perfect air seal then the pump will shut off. I've had this problem multiple times on multiple cars.

In Georgia you can operate them like a water hose haha

Don't come back to Iowa this week, damn cold here. Don't forget our lovely rust. It fits me though. I can't be more than a days drive from Boundary Waters in Minnesota. I love California though. I try to visit there frequently.

I'm an Infiniti tech and it's a huge issue on a lot of our Infinti cars. I don't have an issue with my GX, but my M35 is super hit or miss. Usually it takes forever to fill, today it filled on the first try(and it was 18 here today.) We have a bulletin to replace the flapper at the base of the neck inside the tank to fix it, I wonder if doing it on a GX would do the same thing. Infiniti's have access panels under the rear seats which make it fairly easy, it might be a bit more time consuming on a GX.

Picked up 5 new 265/70/17 Yokahama Geolander ATS for $725 out the door mounted & balanced.
I have not noticed any rubbing yet but will find a place to flex them so I can break out the heat gun and make some room.

And tonight a guy is already coming by to buy the stock Micheline's had them up on CL for about 4 hours.

This morning gassed up without clicking off once. And last week I only got $10 in before I fave up.

I am shopping for the same size tire. Your rig is not lifted yet, correct? Mine is not and heard 265/70/17 was the largest you can go before lifting. Please keep us posted on any rubbing.

I actually noticed rubbing with the stock ones and have not yet with the new ones surprisingly. I am thinking it's because they are a little narrower. So far very happy with these as far as feel and quietness. But all new tires start off great but I will let you all know. I will be putting 1,200 miles on them in a couple of weeks down in Baja.

I live in South Park and yeah I was planning to hit you up for a beer and to check out your GX

Might be hitting the trails on Sunday with an FJ and my buddies 80 series. Still trying to nail down where. Let me know if you might be interested.

Definitely give me a shout for a beer, can't make it this weekend but let me know next time and my buddy with a 3rd gen will also join.

I'll pm you my number

Gotta share photos right! Jeez what took me sooooo long! So far I am barely rubbing with these compared to the stock Michelines? Weird!
