1996 Land Cruiser must go.... sobbbbbbbb

222k miles, no lockers, needs rubber and bit of rust work to keep on road. No lockers....sorry to say.
Family car that never became the beast it should have become....
Time to sell rather than build it for the woods the way I want.
See my CL ad if interested.

Need disk brake knuckle/rotor/spindle/hub assembly-FJ40

I need everything from the knuckles out on a 76+ (disk brake) FJ40 for a disk brake conversion on a 78-NonUS that has drums up front. I'm going to replace the rotors and calipers so I don't really care about their condition.

I don't need the birfs since I've already got fine spline birfs.
I don't want the whole axle-just the two knuckle assemblies.

With all of the talk here about broken birfs, there must be dozens of these lying around....

Free in Franklin County, MA: bucket of stuff. Everything is used, working to the best of my knowledge unless described otherwise. Some stuff is from the PO, some stuff I replaced "just because", some is stuff I kept, hoping to fix. Life is short.

USPS complete outside mirror. glass is broken, ears on motor broken. Housing is emerald green (6M1).
16401-54750 radiator cap.
oil pressure sensor harness (I think it's the one that goes from USPS side of 1FZ-FE to USPS inner fender)
77310-35080 fuel cap
84231-12070 courtesy door switches (x4). Some are intermittent.
2 power antenna assemblies ant 3 masts. Condition unknown, assume masts damaged, but motors working.
O2 sensor.
throttle cable.
distributor cap + 7 wires.
air intake tube (no cracks).
90916-03052 thermostat.
85321-60050 washer valve
Water pump
fan clutch (older style, black hub)
ABS sensor w/harness (I think USPS front, but I am not sure).
ABS sensor (USDS front, not sure).
front inner axles (short and long sides)*
rear inner axle (long side, no locker)*
birfs (x2)
1 front spindle*
* items stored in unheated garage. Expect surface rust.
rear hub adjusting nuts (x2) - (the ones requiring the special tool)

I'm coming through at the end of the week from Rochester NY. If it's free it's for me!

PM me your info and I can better let you know when I'm around towards the end of the week.

Re: free FZJ80 stuff in Western MA

The air intake and birfs may have been spoken for by someone before you posted. The rest is yours. PM on the way.

Mombasa Roof top awning

Well I was trying to figure out what I could use the Mombasa 6.5x6.5' awning I won at the FG on but in all reality it will probably be a long time if ever that I have something with a roof rack to put it on and I could use the money to build my new beater 40. So I figured that I would put it up for sale to the club. I haven't even taken it out of the box but can if someone would really like pics. $150 or I would consider some trades.

Edit: Holding for Kina

This is posted in the Yankee Toys forum for local pickup, but I am willing to ship. If I ship, cost will be actual shipping + $1 handling fee.

Is the rear axle full float?

Yes, full float, no e-locker.

This is a feeler but it sounds like I might have a fuel injected v8 lined up to go in my 40, so I wanted to see if any one is interested in the chevy 350 I have in it now.

I didn't rebuild the motor myself, the previous owner of the 40 did but it does run good and has a lot of power, it should have well over 300hp. It's a 68 or 69 chevy 350 bored.03 over, reed racing cams, headers and a holly carb. This motor was rebuild a few years ago but only has about 100 or so miles on it. It starts every time and runs strong, it also has a brand new alt and new heavy duty clutch.
It would also come with the 3 speed trans and transfer case and the advanded adaptor to mate them together. I might be willing to seperate and sell items seperate but I would rather not.
$800 takes everything.

What happen to the short side?

It's in my rear axle housing connected to my retrofit e-locker, of course!

Are the splines twisted?

1987 2F 170k , new Weber carb, New starter and power steering pump. Runs really nice. $500 with bellhousing, clutch and H42 transmission

Are the splines twisted?

Not as far as I know. It got removed when I swapped my diff. You want pics? Lousy day to photograph anything except water, of course.

A mudder from CT has potential dibbs on some stuff (via 10-12-11 PM) including the three axles. If he passes and you are still interested, you are next in line.

It sounds like the motor might be spoken for.
So I will sell the 3 speed trans with the advanced adaptor(this gos alone for $500 new) for a cheyy 350 and transfer case for $300
