Hey Russ, did you see the blue one I posted from RI? It was an FJ60 '83 or '85 I think. Looks good... If you'd like a more 'rustic' one.

WTB FJ60/62 front axle housing. The cheaper the better the closer to RI the better.

Have you called cruiserparts up in NH? They have tons of stuff w/ decent prices.

Fixed it for both of ya!

Thanks guys I found a whole axle off a buddy for $220. Anyone interested in disk brake conversion for the the front of their 40?

Yeah the prices for CruiserParts are more than what I would like to pay. They wanted $400.

Josh, I agree on Kina but I would blow through close to two tanks of fuel and wasting the better part of a day getting up there back.

That's cool... I appreciate the heads up that Kina can supply parts. And agreed, cruiserparts can be expensive but I have ordered parts at times from them.... Generally I do my own work (simple stuff) when I am able.

It's with bittersweet feelings that I post my FJ60 up for sale or trade. I built this 60 because I had a 40 project in progress that was ultimately stolen. I have never gotten over the desire to have a 40-series rig, and the nice weather has pushed me beyond the breaking point. So, my build thread is here:

https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/384286-oyajis-fj60.html

I've got about $25k in this rig. My asking price is $15k, but bring any offers you feel are appropriate as I think I'm ready to move on. I'll consider pre-76 FJ 40/45 rigs in trade, but they'll need to be rust free. I may also consider a well kitted FJ80 or FJ Cruiser (I can't really believe I'm saying that) as I'm a sucker for a sun roof. I'm not seeking miracles, but I am trying to retain some dignity for the money and effort I put into this rig. Thanks for reading.
