Seems like a decent price for a relatively low mile 80. So what if he doesn't know what he has? I prefer buying junk from people who are too dumb to know what they've got. It gives me more leverage as a buyer. Go take a look at it and play along. Lift the hood and when it becomes obvious that the ad is not correct (wrong year and I-6 and not V8), start nit picking and beating him down on his price. Walk away with a decent truck for....maybe $3,500 - $4000. Uh oh! I think I've given away all my horse trading secrets! I'd better shut up now.....

Yeah. You're right. Could be a scam but the number is local so perhaps not?
As for the grille, not sure but the bumper has obviously been spray bombed. Truck probably took a hit at some point and a used grille slapped in and a rattle can respray on the bumper.

As most of you know I'm trying to get the 1966 FJ45 LV into roadworthy condition to bring it to the meet and greet in March. Well, it needs tires, badly. Before I steal the 33x9.50x15 tires off my FJ40, I thought I should check to see if anyone has what I need and is looking to upgrade or perhaps @Rice will find what I need on CL for me.
As most of you know I'm trying to get the 1966 FJ45 LV into roadworthy condition to bring it to the meet and greet in March. Well, it needs tires, badly. Before I steal the 33x9.50x15 tires off my FJ40, I thought I should check to see if anyone has what I need and is looking to upgrade or perhaps @Rice will find what I need on CL for me.
Is that the only size you are considering

AFAIK, the 1st gen rams came with the Getrag 5 speed, not the NV4500. I'd have to go back and check to make sure which year the NV4500 started.

Nope. You are correct. I was looking at two. The other is a 93 with the 4500 and intercooler but 4500.
