The cruiser community has helped me plenty in the past, so maybe someone can use these

1989 FJ62 front seat pair. The driver seat is shot, but would make a good base for refurb. Pickup near downtown Raleigh.

A very close match from a 1999 Pathfinder. Close as in color and pattern.....the mounts required some fab, and I'm still not quite done, but they are solid. I wanted cloth, manual, and blue-ish. Not an easy find. They are used, obviously, but so much more supportive. And $57 for the pair.

WTB: FJ40 radiator support. I just need a couple of inches out of the frame and top "crossbar" in order to widen mine for a bigger radiator (width, not thickness). So it can have rust or be bent or whatever. In fact, that would be ideal so as not to chop up a good one.

WANTED: I’m looking for a gas leaf blower. Handheld preferred. Must run well.
I have one. I upgraded to a backpack blower that I use to fly around the neighborhood.

I am posting this for a good friend and I can vouch for its condition and maintenance history. Curt is a solid, trustworthy guy. You can contact me on here if you are interested as he sits 6 feet away from me at the office, or you can use the phone number listed in the CL ad below. He is motivated to sell as he doesn't ride much anymore and physically struggles with the riding position--retired military with the associated aches and pains. All that to say, the price is negotiable.

Cheers folks!

Selling rear 4" Dobinson Flexicoil springs and 4" to 5" Fox shocks from my 80. I replaced the springs and shocks with Dobinson heavy tapered springs and IMS shocks to help deal with the weight in the rear. I would recommend the Flexicoils and Fox for light Cruisers.
  • The springs are still Dobinson teal but need a coat of paint.
  • The shocks are not leaking and still have a ton of resistance.
Both springs and shocks are currently boxed up and in my garage. Asking $250 for springs and shocks.
4" Flexicoil on the left, 3" Tapered on the right

Later this year, I will be replacing the front 3" Flexicoils and Fox shocks.

Now selling a complete set of springs and shocks.
3" Dobinson Flexicoil springs and 3 to 5" Fox shocks for the front.
4" Dobinson Flexicoil springs and 4 to 5" Fox shocks for the rear.

The 3" Flexicoil springs and Fox shocks on the front did really well with an ARB, winch, and dual battery. The Fox shocks are still very strong and there's no signs of leaking, scratches in the shafts, or dents in the body. Pictures below with the Flexicoils and Fox installed.

$500 for the set. I will be at CRR and if you're close by I will help install them.

This is tempting now that I’m rolling on 315s and regearing to 4:88. Very Tempting but honestly my 80 doesn’t need to be higher.

Anyone wants stock rear lower control arms for free? Maybe someone could re-sleeve them or something. . .or their trash.

Ill take them, I seem to bend one a year.

The trick is to bend both. My 80 had both bent pretty badly, but it passed a 4 wheel alignment just fine, and had better clearance... :hillbilly:
