Have any of you had experience on country roads and passes in Colorado? I am considering a few passes with the family. Etc. imogene, engineer, Ophir passes. Also anyone done Devils Punch Bowl in their LX?
I haven't done Punchbowl or Black Bear but I have done all the other passes and the LX with a good set of ATs won't break a sweat. I used the crawl control a lot in Moab.

Can you share details on your tint?
The windshield is 35% and the rest are 15% over the factory.

The windshield looks darker than it actually is.

Any trouble seeing at night on roads without lights?
Not really. I use to have problems on dark wet roads with oncoming traffic, the tint helps cut down on the glare. My Tacoma was tinted the same and occasionally found it difficult to back up in the woods in the dark. Haven’t had that problem with the lx though.

Was looking for something more challenging but this got interesting quickly

Steep decline into a river bed. Should have deflated before sliding off rock and damaging alloy wheel. In hindsight should remove sidestep too

What size tires? Running spacers? Sensor Lift? Any rub? Would they work without spacers? Looks sick. Throw up more photos if you have any.

LT275/65R20 E 126/123Q, UCA and sway bar rub without spacers, 1.25" spacer, no lift, (extreme) heat moulded mud flaps with slight rub only turning full left, repositioned plastic guards under and around wheel wells,

Made some headway in the de-chroming. Got the rear emblem and window line trim blacked out and pried off the door line trim. Can’t believe it took me so many years to rip those off and how easy but messy it is. Now just have to figure out the handles. Too bad toyota won’t sell the black caps without the whole handle.

Looks great! What method did you use to pry off the doorline trim?

Thanks. Just a small plastic trim removal tool as to not scratch up the paint. Depending on model year you may have also have clips that go into holes in the body. I know 08-11 are just stick on.

I've got a 2013 so I think it might have the clips and holes

@Ali FJ80 , nice touch on the leading edge of the side skirt. Hadn't seen it cut like that before.

Finally got to get out last week and give the truck a good run out. This is our first trip since I moved to the 285/75/17 BFGs on Icon Vector 5s in addition to the Slee sliders, so it was good to finally get out on the trails. I was especially interested to see how the new tires would fare in actual use. I am happy to report that they are the bees knees. No rubbing that I could discern and we were riding heavy and hit some pretty decent terrain.

Inside, I removed the third row seats and built some drawers. This is not something I have been planning on, but my wife bought us a Dometic CFX3 55IM and we decided that we wanted to be able to slide it out. I am happy that I did it and think it turned out pretty good.

Anyhoo.....the plan was to head up to the high country of ElDorado NF around Carson Pass. I thought we might get lucky, but everything is still impassable. The trails that aren’t snowed in are obstructed by downed trees. We headed back down the mountain to lower elevations and decided to get as remote as we could. Unfortunately we didn’t get as many pics as we would have liked, but here are a few:
