Let’s get more pics added to this thread. Land Shark Outfitters Reef system completed yesterday. Still deciding on how to finish the exposed surfaces. I would like to match the grey interior somehow, but still trying to figure that out.

Rustoleum matte hammered is pretty close.

Do you have a writeup on that rotopax mount somewhere? I need to figure out a solution to carry fuel and water but don't want an aftermarket rack. I had a FR on the 100 which was really nice but dont want one on the 200 if I can get away with it. I'll probably get a Yakima Skybox to carry the lighter bulky stuff.

I've been getting out here and there hiding from this virus and getting the kids out of the house.

The passenger side step hit a bank on an off-camber rutted muddy section just before the below pic. It already had damage from a Moab trip last year. I need sliders but not in the budget right now.

I was a little nervous crossing this trail filter, but the trail wasn't so bad. This is actually the filter on the exit of the trail from the direction I was coming. The entrance was slightly tougher but I didn't scrape once and did not need to stack rock. I continue to be impressed with what a 2008 Lexus can do.

That's too bad as there is some one in that area selling a brand new set of the Slee sliders unopened for $1500.

Looks great - those tires are on my list.....how are they?

Did you detail yourself, what’s your process?

So far so good on the tires, I don't really have anything to compare to though. I went straight from the car dealer to the tire shop since I bought the truck with bald tires. The tire shop aired them up to 46-48 psi. I dropped them down to 38 to see how it did. Couldn't tell a significant difference.

As far as the detail, I just hand washed it and threw on some tire shine.

On another note, thanks to the forum here, I greased the driveshaft and while on the creeper, rolled under my tundra and greased those too. I had never done it before. They took quite a few pumps to see it seep out of the u-joints. Loving the truck so far, feel bad for not driving the tundra sometimes though. It has its purpose, hunting season, towing, etc.

Ha! Already had some DM conversation with him. Unfortunately, $1500 is out of my price range. In the meantime, I'll just have to look at a damaged step. At least it's on the passenger side.

Had blacked out the front grill a few years back so had a bit of time and refreshed the front. Took off the bumper hoops and eventually blacked out the rear aside from the L. Lexus and lx570 emblems will be removed along with side chrome strips at some point.

I think black grille + chrome emblem is way to go. What did you do to make your gobi ladder fit?

The front emblem in chrome was a bit loud so I actually sprayed it silver so a lot less shinny but still contrasting which is what I was after. I need to do something with the rear one also. In my not so quick thinking I ignored it as I though my spare tire would cover most of it but it does not. May go black on the rear one to get the contrast against the silver and match the rest of the rear.

Getting the ladder on required a big sledge to flatten out the top mounting plate as the LC plate has a step due the way the spoiler is. Also the mount at the bottom had to be reworked as the area is completely different than the LC. Nothing too hard but took some time. Contacted Gobi twice and offered up my truck for as long as they needed to make a mounts for the LX as they are local. Never heard back and the attitude was like they were doing me a favor. Cant honestly say I would buy anything from them unless the customer service has improved. In the pic the bottom mount is not on as I am trimming it as it was blocking some of the camera.

@Ali FJ80 Like this a lot. Did you wrap or use plasti-dip?

Thanks, Its just dip that I had laying around.

There are photos pages back in this thread of someone wheeling their stock 570 on Hell's Revenge - including the punchbowl.
